The fuse in your second picture can be found in AliExpress but I dont have any idea where you can buy this in Nigeria. See the link below where you can buy it in AliExpress. I have the 200amp MEGA fuse but you need 150a. Also note, the max rated volt for MEGA fuse is 32v while the fuse Felicity used in my battery is rated for 70v. The little I know about fuse is, if you go higher than the rated voltage, the breaking capacity reduces. My advise, reach out to Felicity & let them send you the fuse. Are you 100% sure the problem is the fuse? Did you use a multimeter to check for continuity? If the fuse is blown, temporarily bypass the fuse & see if the BMS will come on. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EIyzu57 futurenix:

Dear Team. Please, I have a 24v 100ah lifepo4 battery pack. Please, what kind of charger(AC) is it recommended that I use. Note that we have regular power supply in my area and I am not planning on getting panels. Considering my points above, what kind and size of inverter is recommended as well? Do I get a separate charger and inverter or do I get an inverter that can charge? Total load - 150w fridge and 80w fan primarily.. Abeg no air me bosses. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Valto(m): 6:19pm On Feb 22 |
Danibestguy:will be hard to get a compatible 24v lifepo4 lithium battery charger or a cheaper 24v inverter that will match your battery.. your best bet is a 24v 3kw hybrid inverter available at 300k |

Danibestguy: https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-fta/1585#128577092 Check the link, its future proof with 40A inbult solar charge controller... 1.2KW with 3.6KW Surge rating will handle your loads. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Bambless1(m): 8:48pm On Feb 22 |
Good evening bosses..... Is it advisable to by pass hybrid inverter inbuilt charger and use a separate 60a MPPT charge controller for a 48v system with 8 units of 350w panels connected in 2s 4p ? |

Bambless1: Sure, You can use an external controller with your Hybrid.. 2 Likes |

Hello house. Pls can i connect these 2 solar panels in series PANEL 1 Vmp- 35.21v Imp- 13.49A Voc- 42.54v Isc- 14.23A PANEL 2 Vmp- 43.38v Imp- 10.95A Voc- 52.24v Isc- 11.77A Pls note that both panels are CONFIRMED original jinko panels bought frm different trusted sources. And both are 475w panels. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Dam5reey(m): 10:34pm On Feb 22 |
princely009: In Series Result: 90w loss. vmp 43.38 + 35.21 = 78.59 V IMP = Lowest Amperage = 10.95A That's 860W total as compared to two identical 475 panels 950W. In parallel Result: 90w loss. Vmp = Lowest voltage = 35.21 V IMP = 13.49 + 10.95 = 24.44 A That's 860W total as compared to two identical 475 panels 950W. 1 Like |

Valto: what is your standard warranty on this sir? |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by princely009: 6:34am On Feb 23 |
Thanks for the response. So best advise to prevent losses is to get a separate charge controller for both panels? The total panels are 10. The owner initially installed 7 panels (PANEL 2), then he recently bought 3 panels (PANEL 1) to upgrade the installation from another source (Fouani). Dam5reey: |

princely009: Installed 7 panels? What configuration did he use? I'll suggest you go ahead with the addition if your CC can accommodate it. Remember that your PV rarely stays at Pmp state for so long. Except budget is not a problem. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 7:29am On Feb 23 |
Dam5reey: You know say na Una dey convince people say dem fit Mix & Match Solar panels of different capacities. Now you're seeing the result. Wonder why you guys won't let somethings be, so those who really knows what they're doing, to take such risks. Once again, whenever you combine Solar Panels of different capacities, expect the higher ones to come down to level of the lowest. At end of the day, na you go dey cheat yourself. |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Dam5reey(m): 7:50am On Feb 23 |
princely009: You can combine them all in series but note that there will be about 10% loss. with about 5KW PV, it doesn't matter.. losses cannot be avoided when batteries are full and nowhere for power to go. If cost is not an issue, proceed to get Separate controller for the new panels. 2 Likes |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:00am On Feb 23 |
Dam5reey:Those are edge cases better left to those who knows what they're doing in certain special circumstances. you say "the loss here is only 10%" BUT many of us know that's extra avoidAble 10% added to many other losses that's mostly unAvoidable. Have seen such used on client's project at least on 2 occassions. I recall even sharing one in here. na so the person just combine multiple 200w with multiple 150w solar panels and said client was a first timer. So excuse of getting for free, or reusing what's existing doesn't occur either. why |
