Well, we have 3 main rivals (Cameroon, South Africa and Ghana) and it's difficult to separate the three.

A rival simply means someone that you often compete against for the same object. In this case, someone that you often play high profile or major matches against.

We played against Cameroon in the final stage of World Cup qualifying in 1991 and in the finals of the 2004, 2014 and 2016 Nations Cup. We have also met them in major quarter and semi finals (remember 2018).

If you check, virtually all AFCON finals and many final stages of World Cup and Olympic Games qualifiers have been between Nigeria and either Cameroon, Ghana, South Africa or Equatorial Guinea.

Cameroon have always been one Opponent we hardly don’t get in any major tournaments in Africa, South Africa is next before Ghana.. But the rival with Ghana was the strongest back in the days because of the rivalry in all aspects.. Now South Africa have taken over as the No.1 that can upset us among the trio.
Equatorial Guinea was only in the picture then because of their use of Male Players which gave them the edge to balance us..

Not every player will transition into management. Management has a lot to do with passion.

I know that already. I'm saying majorly that it's alien to our sports structure. Na politicians full everywhere.

For example, Bosso still dey lead cadet teams when more capable hands are all over plus worthy ex-ints that will do a better job than him.

That media officer and the whole NFF Media office under Olajire is just bloody useless!
How difficult is it to provide real time information and updates?
Instead, its all about estacode and jollofing for them.

➡️ The idea of the American club, owned by Sixth Street, is to provide the financial, infrastructure and development side, while FC Barcelona would provide the knowledge and its experience when it comes to professionalising a women's football section.

Lol. I wonder what the coach is thinking playing three DMs at once. Perhaps an Echegini would have provided creativity there.

Who will he rely on to create opportunities or is he looking to grind out a draw? Wahala dey.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 5:30pm On Feb 23
All 3 ladies are CMs.
Their mission is to neutralize the Cameroonian midfield.
Either one of them is more than capable of providing or creating attacking opportunities.
This is an away game and the objective is to not concede.

Cameroon game is always physical, Deborah Abeodun is also good playing from the AM or Box2Box position.

Coach trying to play safe, let’s watch and see. If Kanu was available I believe Tony would have played her AM position.

Deltamani,
Point of correction: there is no such Yoruba name spelt 'Abeodun'.
Her name is: Abiodun.
