Truth is that apart from Independence layout where the government house is and politicians live, the rest of Enugu is unplanned and full of slums. We are just covering the city as old capital of eastern region. But you still see Enugu people attacking Anambra state that is far ahead of them as if Anambra people are their problem. Ever since Anambra state built its own airport, you hardly see Anambra industrialists going to set up anything in Enugu. Currently, there are close to ten medium scale factories being built-in different parts of Anambra state and more are in the pipeline, that may be the cause of envy by these Anambra haters.

Oga, you're so myopic. Have been to Zoo estate, premier layout, centenary city estate, diamond estate, golf estate, Thinker's corner, GRA, GRA phase 2, Citadel estate, WTC estate just to mention but a few. If you have, you will know that Independent layout is now almost as old as Abakpa and Obiagu

As a Yoruba man Am privileged to have travelled and stayed in all southeastern state capitals ,if you ask me where would I like to revisit one more time ,I had say Enugu city .
The serenity is self welcoming, and every area (Emene,trans ekulu,abakpa Nike)has got something unique that makes one like to revisit.

I have been to many cities in Nigeria and only Lagos, Abuja are more develop than Enugu.in south east Owerri come close but apart from that Enugu is fine, even there ghetto fine self . ghettos in other states and cities are really terrible especially Lagos and pH
