Agree with you on this. MPR at 22% (with a wide margin of +1%/-7%) cannot keep interest rates at +20% for more than 2 to 3 months without severe damage to the economy from a non-enduring monetary policy. CBN needs to tread cautiously.

I believe Mr Market is watching all of them closely and will respond ahead of economic data releases That means if Mr Market senses things are going to get worse some months ahead with companies earning less and less money, Mr Market will start going down today. However if he sees increasing Naira earnings per share and increasing valuations months ahead, Mr Market will start rising today
