I don't think there is a custody fee.

I only wrote a letter to CSCS through my stockbroker that my bond should be migrated from the custody of the bank to CSCS

But please Sir, how do your coupon comes. Is it through the bank or CSCS? Banks normally deduct some charges when coupon drops. Does CSCS do same or they settle the complete amount?

Also Sir, do you see your bond on your stock broker's dashboard. Please guide me Sir. Thank you Sir

Elections are over, there are threads on Nairaland for political discussions
Politics, economy and stock market are interwoven. A little bit of politics has always been discussed here. I don't know why the little politics I highlighted hurt you so much. Sorry sir

How does your dividend come? Is it through the bank or CSCS ?

Bonds bought by your stockbroker on the floor of NGX will show in your CSCS. Bond bought through the bank but you have written for it to be migrated to CSCS will also show in your CSCS statement

Note: There is a poor market for bonds through CSCS. But through the bank holding it there is a good market. This note is needed if one changes mind and need to sell in future.

Also CSCS held bond do suffer prompt coupon payment sometimes and one may have to go back and forth to claim missed coupons.

At expiration redemption one needs to complete forms for CSCS held bonds. Unlike bank held bonds that doesn't entail such stress.

These were my experiences with CSCS held bonds. Perhaps things might improve over time. These issues make me to prefer bank managed bonds.

Thank you so much Sir. This has made my day and it's convincing Enough. I have decided to leave it with my brokers. Thank you so much Sir. I appreciate you greatly

I thought I am the only one who noticed it. When one looks at its resilience against its scary OS, it becomes clear that there is something big likely to happen about it soon.

Somebody is ensuring TRANSCORP doesn't go below a level, anytime it starts free fall some will just come a place bid for 1million units

Really, why will bank hear it because of cost of borrowing is more expensive. Or you say it because you saw it somewhere..The only people that will hear it is those seeking to borrow from the bank and banks will make more profits from borrowing from government.
What fundamentals was thr when pmb was and now you have jagaban.what has changed in the forex fundamental apart from the floating by this government. The speculators and hoarders are the ones manipulating the dollars.....we dey here.....how much is it today already .I expect panic sell off of dollars soon from those with small holdings .Then later the government thieves with large holdings will join.I expect the government to ban the use of physical dollars for anything in nigeria. Anything to do with dollars should only be via transfer after the bvn/nin update by banks..

Banks borrow money from themselves and CBN

However note. The only risk I see of a bank or broker holding the bonds on one's behalf is the bonds are in their name (and they managed it as a mini fund sort of). Thus it's good to buy through a reputable broker or solid bank and not one that can fold up. Also one needs to keep his or her records for proof purposes.

Seplat is more about capital appreciation than dividends
The ANOH gas project and the Exonnmobil asset purchase are the major reasons for the capital appreciation.
Gas project is ready for commissioning but the asset purchase is still awaiting FG approval.

Gas project is expected to double their earnings, while the asset purchase when approved should multiply the blessings.

At current prices, Oando and UBA are a steal. They are both oversold. Particularly, I expect Uba to deliver EPS of not less than 15 naira. We may never see these price ranges.

I doubt if Nascon announced any date for Board meeting. Their only notification on Audited result was that it would be release within 60 days from 2023 year end. That info came since December

Uba excites me. The sentimental reaction to the increase in MPR has created huge opportunities for the accumulation of UBA. Thank me later!
