Applied on the 15th of February 2024
Biometrics done on the 20th of February 2024
Ppr 27th February 2024
My mother is retired, so we submitted some of her old work Id's and pictures at work.
I wrote the invite and stated that she wants to come and see her granddaughters, all the cost will be on me. ( Food, accommodation, flight etc)
I submitted my account with 6k CAD and my mother had a fixed deposit of 1.1 naira. I submitted
Family pictures, birth certificate, PR card .

I didn't submit any work document.

Anybody is entitled to their opinion here. That is why I usually write..."IN MY OWN OPINION", so why should I object to whatever you say? But sometimes, raising an opinion that may go SLIGHTLY against another doesn't make the other appear inferior. I was only trying to let you realize that it's not in all cases you can simplify your application. Any docs that you know could FURTHER STRENGTHEN YOUR GROUND FOR APPROVAL, SUBMIT IT. NEVER TAKE CHANCES!!! You might never know which docs will work. Just because it worked for A doesn't necessarily mean it will work for B. Different VO's with different reviewing skills/strategies or approach. For instance, for someone that would like to use one's parent as family ties, after submitting your birth certificate and your parents official ID that shows the name on your birth certificate tally with their ID, why do we further include pictures of lovely moments with them, even though we are aware we already submitted CERTIFICATES? It is to further strengthen our application and show our relationship is beyond papers(CERTIFICATES), at the same time not neglecting the two other considerable factors(economy and financial). I don't know if it is still valid, some years back, German embassy required marriage pictures aside marriage certificate. Now, should we then say they don't know that a marriage certificate is sufficient to show you are legally married?

There was misconception somewhere!! I was looking at the area where you mentioned SIMPLIFYING APPLICATION SEEMS BEST TO YOU, which may never work in all cases. I broaden it beyond pictures submission by saying one should never take chances all in the name of wanting to simplify an application. As long as you have any docs that can SOLIDIFY your ground for approval, tender it. Then you said an applicant may submit pictures(from when I indicated proof of ties) from 1 to 25 years and still not get approval if financial/ family ties are left behind from the other party, **but if the applicant feels submitting all these pictures can get approval**, let him go ahead... And I said....PLEASE DON'T THINK I MEANT submitting pictures alone is a justification for approval because from my previous response to @jeffdaniel post, I had already mentioned all ties must be strong...and....BOOM💥💥.....you highlighted "PLEASE DON'T THINK I MEANT....." and considered it an insult....NA WA OO😒

3. Don't matter knowing someone, package your application well . Use wife and kids as home ties, properties, cars, parents if alive .

As a lawyer, you'd need to be qualified in Canada to practice there. That's a tough bar to scale from Nigeria. Add to that, you are better favoured for jobs in Canada when you are permanent resident, as opposed to when you are not. Why not start first with applying for express entry?

If you start receiving your pension earlier at age 60, the monthly amount you'll receive will be smaller.

Hello, my cousin is, but on the condition that:

You don't have excess luggage to carry
You don't have any suspicious (not necessarily contraband) item you're carrying

That you're the only one travelling.

The reason I asked those questions are simple. Someone was introduced to me sometime ago. She was going for her master's degree. She had relations in Canada but had never travelled before so I was asked to help out since we're traveling along same route. I accepted cos of her aunt's kindness to us at home.

We met at the airport. Come and see luggage like someone running away from home. She also had 2 kids, lots of orishirishi packed in luggage. I started becoming a courier assistant right from the airport, yanking off my suit to help out. We landed safely and I was still same person who assisted her in taking her luggage off the carousel one after the other. I wheeled them out for her to take a cab to her location.

Your church marriage certificate in 2018 indicates that you are legally married. The only options now are whether you are divorced or still married. Presenting a church marriage certificate signifies a recognized form of marriage in Nigeria. A common-law partnership is different, involving two people living together without a church wedding certificate
