Mysterious Red Glow Over the Atlantic Baffles Pilots and Skywatchers Published on February 29, 2024 ABIA STATE, NIGERIA — A captivating and otherworldly phenomenon unfolded in the night sky over several parts of the eastern part of Nigeria , last night a mysterious red glowing light was being captured around 12:15am, leaving pilots and sky enthusiasts bewildered. Photographs and videos taken by various residents reveal vast patches of the mysterious red light piercing through the cloud cover. One of the reporters, who wishes to remain unidentified, described the sight as something he had "never seen before." The images, shared on some WhatsApp group, ignited speculation and theories. While some jestingly suggested UFOs or a gateway to the "Upside Down" from the show "Stranger Things," a more plausible explanation emerged. Experts believe the mysterious red glow could be linked to **Pacific saury fishing boats**. These small baitfish are lured to the surface using bright red LED lights at night. The commercial fishing vessels scoop up the saury with ease, thanks to this centuries-old technique. Unlike traditional filament bulbs, these modern LED lamps emit less ultraviolet light and heat, making them safer for both fish and fishermen. Similar phenomena have been observed elsewhere, including off the coast of Cambodia, where green fishing lights attract squid. Even the sky above Zhoushan, China, turned a deep red due to fleets of saury fishing boats. As the world marvels at this celestial spectacle, scientists continue to unravel the secrets behind these crimson skies. For now, the Atlantic's glowing mystery remains a captivating enigma, leaving us to wonder what other surprises our planet's skies might hold. Reporter: Cherish . O. Jude

The UFOs that dropped off Otti in Abia State came to see if he has true-true given out the light they gave him to keep. The alien ship lights are colored red because they’re pissed that the short alien is trying to rise to greater heights by lifting others! |
