South Africa is practically running this continent. What gave Nigeria a GDP edge is her massive population.

The day South Africa chases away white South Africans like Uganda and Zimbabwe, that will mark the end of their economic dominance.

Not even one company from Egypt made the list!

Dangote refinery is worth over $20billion and it’s not listed above. Says a lot about the accuracy of the list.

Non-black South Africans are South Africans nonetheless. If there is anything your direction of thinking brings out, it is the fact that whites appear to be able to build bigger and stronger business corporations than blacks. We should rather learn from them rather than hating them for that.

Some of the SA conglomerates have been existing in one way or the other even before Nigerias amalgamation, funded and backed by proceeds from gold and diamond sales. Have you read sidney sheldons master of the game?
Re: Stats: Africa Richest Companies by junketer(m): 8:54am On Mar 01
If you like make excuses but the fact remains that Nigeria has failed even with huge population.
My surprise here is that capitec is worth more than Absa and vodacom is worth more than Mtn.

Lol yet they have not been able to overtake Nigeria as the number 1 economy in Africa.
Despite the so called hardship in Nigeria.

You obviously are very ignorant of basic principles of economics

Stop being ignorant. First bank was owned by the british colonialists before nationalisation policies brought it and its likes under the control of nigerians.

Can you compare sa companiesbacked by diamonds and gold with nigerian geneational
companies funded by coal and other agric commodities?

Even before the europeans began trading in west africa, some of the sa companieshave begun mining gold and diamonds and selling them to europe and america, while our forebears were still stuck on selling hides and skin.
Re: Stats: Africa Richest Companies by googi: 3:24pm On Mar 01
It is true that whites outside Africa encourage and fuel white companies inside Africa mainly for Slave labor. They do the same inside Black African countries for cheap natural resources also.

If you want to blame Black Africans for selling out in return for pittance like foreign currencies, do so.

But you should know the reason South Africa had Nuclear Power and now without. This is the reason for the white South African privileged Edge.

Whites have no magic wand for economic success otherwise they would not be using brutal survival of the fittest nuclear barbaric Power to maintain Economic Power.
