The current inflation and exchange rate has been factored into the price. History repeats itself...To understand the future, look to the past. To understand the game Tony is trying to play, look at the Boju Boju he has done in the past. grin grin grin grin

Haba Tony. You want to play us the same game you did with transcorp hotel.what really is the work of our regulators why all this scam allowed to happen in naija. Transcorp plc is now a vehicle to rep the minority investors. This was why they made ote back off

I just hope Alhaji is not planning similar arrangement and ploy with Dangote food, Nascon and sugar.

Wait till it is listed and the shareholding structure becomes clear..........If the parent Transcorp PLC is a minority shareholder in the new Transcorp Power plc, which is what i am expecting based on Tony's antecedent; my brother........RUN!!!!!

If we look at the share of energy market volume as well as installed capacity NGN240 is a steal.
However, based on the antecedents of TOE, we need to tread with caution.

Whatever happens, it has a very strong potential to exceed 1000 before December.

Let's wait till we get the full details then we can make an informed decision... grin

Very valid point!

All the SWOOT (with a parent company) have the parent as a majority shareholder... grin

@Customstreet your attention is needed here! shocked

I think there's going to be allotment of TRANSCORP POWER to TRANSCORP PLC shareholders.

Let's wait for explanatory documents on this.

I doubt there will be an allotment shares based on how Oga Tony operates. For an allotment to happen, there would have to be a closure of registrar date announced and Transcorp PLC placed on technical suspension during the duration of the allotment and unbundling. This whole arrangement was shrouded in secrecy.........that even shareholders of Transcorp PLC knew nothing about it grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Heirs Holding is going to hold a wholesome stake in this new scheme and probably Tony too. Now i see why a N44Billion loan was taken by Tony's Heirs Holding from UBA last year at a 15% interest rate grin grin grin

Tony has always been a scam from how he took over uba. This is how he pulled out the hotel to himself. That is why i see that his foundation as a scam. I don't think he has plans to do that.why was the Listing kept secret till on Friday after the close of business and Listing on Monday .You will see 80% of the ownership to himself and one proxy as investment partners registered in one country. 10 % to the parent company and 10% to mugu investors in naija that will push the price to 1000 for him

To even think that people outside NGX see Tony as a Role model worth emulating..........Very mean and ruthless guy. Go back and read Otedola's experience with Tony as his friend...........The guy only cares about amassing more money to himself without bothering about creating/increasing value for shareholders. grin grin grin grin

IF you no fear TOE Scamanger tendency, you are a gunner. 80% of ownership to him or Heirs holding is not feasible. At the moment Transcorp holding has ~51% of transcorp power and 95% of Transafam. The most heirs holding may have even with all his scammanger attitude shouldnt' bemore than 20% of re-arranged listing. We will see how the structure show up in the 2023 annual report.

Will keep eyes peeled for increased divy for Transcorp holding coy going forward and mind boggling price appreciation for Transcorp power at least 2:1 compared to Geregu in the future . Prepared for worse case scenario though.

You need to realize that I do not need to like you [or your ways] before I can make money off you.

If TOE lists his company at 240 and I can make 240 in 1month (that's 100%), why will I run away because he has bad antecedents?

THIS IS BUSINESS! wink

Sure!!!! But shareholders deserve full disclosure..........See the way Airtel announced their buyback plan, and how ChampionBrew announced their strategic acquisition; that is how it is supposed to be in a Public Quoted company..........Shareholders are supposed to be carried along from conception to actualisation.

These companies also have a legal team who advices them. So don't be surprised IF they are absolved of any wrongdoing

For now we need to call on the regulatory bodies to do their work... grin

Thanks my guy. This is what I meant in my post.Tony sees small investors like you and I as his mugu in the whole arrangement. Go to my post for today and see how I have been hammering on buying transcorp for target of #100 for next 5 yrs if power sector remains with it.Not knowing the guy already has surprise for us after the close of business today. And someone want to make it look like I was branding naija investors as mugu

Here's the shareholders of Transcorp Power as at Dec 2022 as obtained on their website.

This is just 80,216,413 units anyway but...

I think they had ONLY institutional shareholders (just like Dangote Rice) but are now throwing it to the 'public'

Hhmmm...
I've just been reading all your posts on TRANSCORP....
Tony this, Tony that....What if Tony surprised us this time around....lol. grin

Let's chill and get more clearer picture and details first.....
Anyone in TRANSCORP bus should just try and calm down make we see where Driver dey carry us go..... grin

If there's nothing for TRANSCORP PLC holders, insiders wouldn't have been accumulating so much for a long time before now........
......and, from the previous news, we heard it's going to be Unbundling of TRANSCOR POWER from the PLC.

So we await more clarity on this.
