Emeka1441: Shares of any company are open to the general public irrespective of social creed or status as long as they are put up for sale either through IPO, private placement, right issue or secondary market. The family members bought through the secondary market just like other investors. |

Zagee: They have destroyed the value of Transcorp for its shareholders...what is the benefit of the unbundling to Transcorp shareholders? Once again, it goes to prove that apart from Dangote, 99% of Nigerian CEOs do not have your interest at heart. Well let them list Transcorp power so we can buy directly from the floor.... Transcorp shell holders can keep holding the shares I hope Oando faithfuls are learning too 1 Like |

Zagee:Tactically, they are not bringing Elumelu to address the investing public. Mr Peter Ikenga CEO Transcorp Power Plc will do the address. 3 Likes |

If transcorp power is not available to buy today, UBA shares might be considered from my perspective, as that is still going to be the reservoir of all the funds from the group. Note: Not to be taken as an investment advise. 3 Likes |

Transcorp Power is listing 7.5B units on the floor today. I rather power Transcorp power at N400 than hold Transcorp for now!

yMcy56: The race the country needs right now is the production of more gas for local consumption and the building of more power plants Perhaps the game is to get more big investors injecting money into these power businesses. Like AFDB & AFREXIM did last year with purchase of stakes and signing of plans with GEREGU.
