The solution to this is feeding once daily. Feeding once daily has its advantages as it helps reduces obesity and diabetes. Too much consumption of food is detrimental to our health. Let's try to persevere and endure a little longer as President Tinubu is working extremely hard to fix our economy. His renewed hope agenda and track record in Lagos should give us hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Let's support our President and pray God grant him good health as he strives to turn our country into an economic Giant.

Another opportunity for wailers to wail uncontrollable blaming government alone forgetting that out of greed, people over inflate the prices of this commodities for selfish purpose.
Two days ago, i went to one Hausa man to help me prepare "2" 100g indomine and one egg in "VICTORIAL ISLAND ON ADEMOLA ADETOKUNBO way" (I emphasis the location so that people can know that it is an area where things are expensive) and the hausa man told me it is #1000 for the combination.
Now, i went to see someone in Ajah yesterday and i saw a Calabar woman preparing indomine and i asked her to help me prepare "2" 100g indomine and one egg just like i did the previous day and guess what she told me, she said it is #1400 for the combination. That is #400 than what i paid for in Victoria island just the previous day.
Tell me isn't that GREED from the Calabar woman? I was even thinking there are special extra things that she will add to her own indomine but nothing extra except pepper, onion.
We Nigerians take pride in pointing fingers at the government but we ourselves are thieves in our various businesses and look for every opportunity to reap off others and blame it on government and inflation.

We are the architect of ourselves...

Rice is one food everyone enjoy, most especially kids. And it was very cheap before APC came into power.. Your message should be to APC.. That they should returned the country back to where they met her during Gej. We are supposed to be moving forward as a nation, but APC is taking the country way back..

The funny thing about rice is that the Federal Government has intervened strongly in the market to make it cheaper and more available. 🤣 Previous governments were doing it but APC took it to new heights when they won control in 2015.

Anchor Borrowers Program for farmers, banning the importation of rice, government owned or sponsored rice mills in various states. One can only imagine the corruption that infested these schemes.

Who can forget LAKE Rice?

https://guardian.ng/features/why-lake-rice-disappeared-from-lagos/

It's time Nigerians understand that most times government creates more problems than it solves. Government intervention doesn't work well in the long run.

The solution is to leave the rice market alone. Let Nigerians buy and sell rice from whoever is buying or selling at whatever prices they want. Lift the ban on rice imports, stop rice subsidy.

It's not that hard. Stop creating hardship.

Good Luck to Nigerians.

Modified:

Loads of mentions because I said civilisation put us here.
My comment is not saying civilisation is bad, it is just to open our eyes to loads of things we have missed along the way.
We have all sold out forefathers arable farm lands to build Estates and Mansions...some to worship centres..for those that can salvage anything...go back to farm!

Substitence farming was our thing in Yoruba land..and I know it's same in almost every party of the country...many house holds can easily grow everything I listed up there for themselves..

If you are into white collar job...empower your extended family members to grow for you...after all, our great grandfathers have farms that cater for their grownup children families in the cities.

It's a very hard time...requires hard time measures.

As if you don't know the cost of beans right now. Even moi moi is not cheap as you think.

I can see tinubu has no sense but this is planting season, empower more farmers, allow people go into agriculture, let everyone cultivate, ban food exportation. before this time next year the prices of foods must have falled by more than 50%. If you continue sharing food people will continue to eat and go back to sleep. Almost everything that we eat or package foods we consume are agricultural produce or are from agro allied industries including livestocks production. I know buhari is to be blamed for all this mischief, he left no direction rather he decided to export foods to Niger republic.

With the level of suffering in the land, how Tinubu convinced his online miscreants that Peter Obi is their problem still baffles me.

Whenever Peter Obi makes a statement, the way you'll see them pounce on it, you'll think Peter Obi is the one who plunged Nigeria into this mess. They won't condemn their so called master strategist. The black man truly has a problem.

It'll soon dawn on them.
