A woman wanted to travel & to see her sibling who invited her because they'd not seen in more than a year & her husband says no. She involves her parents & pastor & even her best friend, they all have different opinions. Some said go, some said stay.

As a married woman, whose words should be taken in highest regards?

1. Her siblings that she's spent all her life with
2. Her parents that gave birth to her
3. Her pastor that sees visions & guides her spiritually
4. Her husband
5. Her best friends that she's known from childhood

Let's have matured responses from experienced and responsible nairalanders.
. By the time a woman marries ,she is under the authority of her husband. Her husband is the first in her life. I will advise she should talk to her husband with humility he will allow her

Because of how much bride price?

If bride price is why you're angry, replace bride price with "marry."

Most women nowadays won't listen to their husbands because they consider themselves equal to their husbands. Some women think they're even better than their husbands in everything especially when they're the breadwinners in there family, so why should they listen to them? These types of women don't mind listening to their Pastors than their husbands, because according to them their Pastor is their spiritual father, he's more gifted and wiser than their husbands.

Her husband is the answer
The Bible reveals that a man (husband) is the head of a woman

A God minister that says things without following Bible standard is not a good minister of God, he speaks of his own initiative

The same God who calls her the husband her head or the same God who asked her to respect and follow the head ship of the husband?

EVERYONE ON THAT LIST HANDED HER OVER TO THE HUSBAND ON THE WEDDING DAY.......... so it is over. Her choices should be based on HERSELF and HER HUSBAND. Simple.

Visions can always be cancelled.
Lol you just rendered every other person's on the list handicap.

After God, it's your husband, remember your pastor is not on the list

Limit it to christians. Atheist/Agnostic marriages last the longest and are the most fulfilling while Christians marriages last the least and are the most unfulfilling.

It's simple. Do not collect bride price from a man you're not ready to submit to.

You can't eat from the devil and escape repercussions. No sensible man would restrain you from meeting your family. If that conversation ever comes up, then his reasons are probably valid.

Are you married? If yes, I have nothing to add. If no, I will say you should come back when you are married

If every other person on that list is sensible, they'd ask her to talk to her husband.

If as a woman or a man other people's opinions matter more to you than your spouse, you have no business being married.
