mostob: Whether he demanded for it or not, It is wrong and that's the point. It's wrong cause of the conflict that exists. It's wrong cause every other person can understand this guise claim not to have requested for it. Imagine you running a club with players you need to sell, and you meet a national team coach and you both agreed that he'll get the 5% fee if you sell a player he included in the national team. All he needs to do is to claim he never demanded it but was your initiative. Is the scenario I created here plausible? Don't we see things like this in everyday Nigeria? BTW, it's BS to claim they didn't agree initially, what KOG45 showed with the iheanacho angle is that this was a pattern. 1 Like |

Argue with fact? What facts do you need again? Several articles reported him fighting players agent and clubs, threatening players etc. Yet you talking facts? You find Amunike's behaviour acceptable cos he is your Kinsman. Simple! mostob: 2 Likes |

No football governing body, be it FIFA, CAS, CAF, nFF has called up Amunike for bribery. None has questioned him, neither has he been sanctioned. FIFA still call him up in their Technical whatever group. Even tho this thing has been in public space since. It's only in Nigeria Nairaland that people are tearing their pants. Una get time plenty. 2 Likes |

comodo: First, this is strawman. Bring a contrary argument don't go through the backdoor. Also FIFA, CAF NFF are havens of corrupt practices. You think these things can go on if the glass house had his house in order? You think a house void of corruption wouldn't see anything wrong with a coach on their employ inviting a player he has a stake in? A federal high court today prevented the Kano anti corruption agency from investigating Gandollar the former governor of corruption charges. Going by your logic Gandollar is a saint since he's yet to be convicted of said crime even though we have a video of him stuffing dollars in his babariga. 3 Likes |

https://forum.cybereagles.com/viewtopic.php?p=4612705 If this is true, I don't think the 5% was a gift to Amunike. The quote from Allwell Nwakali about not wanting another trouble with Amunike which earlier happened during Chidi's transfer shows Amunike would have made a fuss had it been his share was omitted from the money. So, thy just had to give him that share for everywhere to stay calm. Note: The is my own deductions o. 1 Like |

All our ex eagles parading themselves as coaches do is to sit and wait for super eagles coaching job like say na their birthright What stops them from taking jobs from other places even outside of Nigeria? Few that tried it didn’t end up well If a coach like Pitso from SA worked so hard to become a household name in terms of coaching in the continent why can’t they do the same? They need to go out to work and make a name for themselves which will make them attractive and will force the nff to come for them |

charlesemeka85: I don't even understand what you are saying? Which head coach from the North? Is it Manu Garba? What you are missing is that, the academy said they gave the developmental fee to Amunike and the coaching crew of the conquering U17. If another gives Manu Garba, if he put in the work towards the players development, I won't beef him. |

lovewins: No development/ compensation fee is paid in any circumstances by a professional football club to any individual coach. It's very simple. What's happening which is really interesting to me is the Nigerian rational. A good number of people see NOTHING wrong with this criminal breach of FIFA rules. Even natural law and ethics says it's a conflict of interest to be paying a national team coach. 1 Like |

Kog45: Breeze blow fowl nyash don open. I've seen several of these proxy academies set up by individuals to use as a front for claiming compensation/ development fees for Nigerian youth players. I said earlier under no circumstances will any club pay any fees to a private individual and even more so a national team coach of the NFF. 2 Likes |

villagereporter: What I am saying is that under no circumstances will any professional football club pay a private individual. What we have here is NFF officials coaches etc setting up proxy football academies as the conduit to claim compensation/ development fees. A coach is employed to coach players and even paid and then after recieving salary he feels he is entitled to some share of the compensation. Then what about the physio, the cook , the analysts, sports scientist and fitness coaches, what about the gate man they can claim some level of contribution to a players development. Where is their share ❓ I've never heard such complete and utter balderdash we are essentially justifying corruption, illegality, extortion and exploitation. You can see why we have the kind of political leaders we have . Our politicians reflect the people who condone corruption. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Wow. Enjoyed the Man City game today and was most especially excited with the cameo appearance of Jacob Wright. I can't wait for Nigeria to churn out genuine midfield geniuses. Keep in mind that this Jacob Wright is home grown and from Manchester. With the right investment and management, I believe we can nurture and develop outstanding talents. Jacob Wright. Remember the name.
