I guess her challenge was partly being able to face the reality of things in her new place. Imagine a trained lawyer, who may have even started practicing law in Nigeria now caring for a 86y old man as a work!

Even if you are doing up to 70 hours a week because of money try to make sure you are exercising extremely well in between

That’s just it. Lack of sleep/ adequate rest is a killer. Otherwise how can this vibrant lady just go like that.

And most of those caregivers don’t even do proper shifts, they are just paid to rush from one clients house to another, travel time not included.

That why they’re tempted to keep doing more and more to up their pay. It’s Really too much.

Caregiver is auxiliary nurse now…how maids and servants take enter the matter

Caregivers do chores of their clients when assigned to one. In the hospital setting, you may equate them to auxiliary nurses in Nigeria. But when the caregivers do the work at the home of their clients, you can say it is equivalent to a 'maid's' job in Nigeria.

Notice that the deceased has been with this elderly woman for over 5 months she moved to the UK.
Likely she was employed by a health agency, but that her work with one woman (probably in her house) is equivalent to a maid's task in Nigeria. I don't mean to denigrate the job of a Caregiver nor a maid, I just wanted to simplify it for the question the guy asked.

What anyone does legitimately that puts food on the table, pays bills is honorable. She was a lawyer licensed to practice in naija, working to survive and raise money to qualify for uk practice. She did not seat at home shoulder raised, that based on her legal status she cannot do odd jobs, leaving the financial burden for her husband to carry..
