All the top banks, nobody agreed to touch Intercontinental bank because their debt was so great. Sanusi told Wigwe he had to take the liability as a friend as non one else will help him avert that stain of being another CBN gov that had a collapsed bank under his watch. When access acquired Intercontinental, it almost sank even access cos the rot in the books of Intercontinental was so great.
