Are you for real?

Comparing Mr. Ibu with Wigwe is like comparing the an asteroid with the sun. Herbert Wigwe is the sun while Ibu is a mere asteroid

I came here to see private jets instead na Mr Ibu and Wigwe comparison dominate the thread.

May God forgive the person that asked that lugubrious and lachrymose question

There truly isn't a basis for comparison. It's like asking who makes more impact between your eyes and your legs. They were designed for different purposes and would be judged by our assignments..

One was sent to the entertainment. Mountain another was sent to finance.

Different callings so no basis for comparison.

They both did well and that's why they will linger in our hearts.

to carry out an assignment. Accompassignment you were purposed to carry out is rat

How many souls did ibú employ? At their deaths, how many people have each touched. Your Ibu would have testified to the generosity enjoyed and known directly from Wigwe.

Those employed by Wigwe worked for their earnings. 90% work, 10% loyalty.
People still pay homage to the late Michael Jackson, even though he didn't employ them.

Mr Ibu but money over everything

Stop rubbish comparison and argument, you think these two Legends, Wigwe and Ibu were online claiming who was great? If you die today, who will mourn you? will your local government even notice it?

We should know how to admonish ourselves and respect ourselves too.

From him we come to him we will all go back someday. RIP. I most say, money is playing here. If not for money the kind people here would have been this. Compare to someone else. It is also bad for politicians to use this period to use avenue at the altar to be making cheap political gains and lost among themselves. Whether you are rich or poor we shall go one day.

What I respect most about this man was his quiet lifestyle. Despite his level of wealth, very few Nigerians knew him. People that don't have half of his wealth no dey let person hear word.

Who told you very few Nigerians knew the CEO of Nigeria’s largest bank? Some Nigerians can be very stupid.

Can u compare this man popularity to the likes of Tony Elumelu?? This man's name was not a household name in the Nigeria space & most people got to know him after his death! Same way most people don't know the current CEOs of most banks. You can choose to remain f00lish & keep deceiving yourself, but don't quote me in your miserable life again. Animal

How many former Diamond Bank staff lost their jobs when it merged into Access? None. Many intercontinental staff are still in service at Access today.
Intercontinental Bank was a failed bank when Access acquired it. The bank was going to collapse and customers where going to lose their savings. No other bank was willing to touch it, Sanusi forced Wigwe to take it so that we won't have another bank failure like Oceanic and co.
mrLhanray:

Just as thousands of former Intercontinental bank staffs lost their jobs, when Wigwe alongside Sanusu and other politicians forcefully took over Intercontinental bank fro Erastus Akingbola. Wigwe bought it a devalued price and changed it to Access bank.
Thousands of bankers unexpectedly lost their jobs, which also had a negative trickle down effect on all their dependents too.
Cos it benefitted you, doesn't mean he didn't destroy lives of others too.

Only a very daft Nigerian does not know who the long term CEO of the largest bank in Nigeria is. I repeat Nigerians can be very stupid.

Who cares if 1000 private or public jets stormed Rivers State? All that means we have people who don't care about the suffering masses in their country but can easily fly jets to burial ceremonies in show of wealth.
Re: Over 50 Jets Storm Rivers For Wigwe’s Burial by wonder233: 8:07am On Mar 10
Let me reply you just so others can benefit.
Sanusi as CBN gov told the big banks he doesn't want another bank failure as that will shake investors and depositors confidence, that they must absorb the less healthy banks to save people's funds. All the top banks, nobody agreed to touch Intercontinental bank because their debt was so great. Sanusi told Wigwe he had to take the liability as a friend as non one else will help him avert that stain of being another CBN gov that had a collapsed bank under his watch. When access acquired Intercontinental, it almost sank even access cos the rot in the books of Intercontinental was so great.
