Why would you risk flying a plane to a city and drop a bomb. with all this crazy air defence systems availiable, while you can fire an ICBM(can be capable of being stealty and self defensive too) from your house?... The relevance of airstrikes is replaced by smart missiles, bombers have not yet fazed out, but soon they may be no need for bombers in the future.
