Nigeria standard, 5'10 for a lady is tall. 5'10 for a guy is considered short.

Reason my friends refer me as short. But I think 5'3 is a small stature that need to go with 5'3 lady to produce average and taller height children.

What the OP is doing is actually right. Height should be considered during breeding to avoid breeding next generation of shorter population.

How many Nigerians, tower over 5'10?
,only few Nigerians are blessed with height above 5'7.

Dear nairalanders,am sharing this to get advice from you all that have had such experience.

I'm in my early thirties ,all my life I ve avoided going out with people or going to public functions because I simply don't like it. ( Probably because am an introvert) . Now am due for marriage and ready to settle down. I have tried several times to accept that it's possible for short parents to have children all taller than themselves but something keep telling me,what if they're all shorter than the parents.

What does that have to do with anything? Your height is still the same after years of minding your business (which I inferred on my previous post when I said it's not something you can change at your age). As a tall person, if a man of 5'3 approaches me, I would decline (although I would be respectful), but you could always approach someone tall and see how it goes. Being short is not a bad thing and I added on my previous post (I was editing when you quoted me) that you could end up having tall kids if your wife is also of a similar height, if that seems to be your major concern.
