We've seen the same sh*t happen in that part of the world over and over again. And I guess people who are always quick to point accusing fingers at the usual culprits might have a point tbh. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_involvement_in_regime_change_in_Latin_America Below is an excerpt from the Wikipedia link I shared 3 Likes

killsmith: Saved tons of people from turning to crime in poverty torn Africa. The church of Jesus molded positive minded people from childhood, through to their youth and adulthood...and old age. Those moral teachings, church engagements and doctrinal activities, saved alot of us from turning to crime at an early stage of life. Family, school, community...church also; all played their role in our formation. The government, schools, systems and society also aided various aspects of our formation, But, the church of Jesus Christ also played a positive role. |

HAITI By David Rudder Toussaint was a mighty man And to make matters worse he was black Black and back in the days when black men knew Their place was in the back But this rebel, he walked through Napoleon Who thought it wasn't very nice And so today my brothers in Haiti They still pay the price...yeah, yeah... Chorus: Haiti, I'm sorry We misunderstood you One day we'll turn our heads And look inside you Haiti, I'm sorry. Haiti, I'm sorry One day we'll turn our heads Restore your glory. Many hands reach out to St. George's And are still reaching out To those frightened, Foolish men of Pretoria We still scream and shout We came together in song To steady the Horn of Africa But the papadoc come and the babydoc go And still, we don't seem to care...No, no... Chorus: Haiti, I'm sorry We misunderstood you But one day we'll turn our heads And look inside you Haiti, I'm sorry. Haiti, I'm sorry One day we'll turn our heads Restore your glory. When there is anguish in Port au Prince It's still Africa crying We are outing fires in far away places When our neighbours are just burning. They say the Middle Passage is gone So how come overcrowded boats still haunt our lives I refuse to believe that we good people Will forever turn our hearts And our eyes...away... Chorus: Haiti, I'm sorry We misunderstood you One day we'll turn our heads And look inside you Haiti, I'm sorry. Haiti, I'm sorry One day we'll turn our heads Restore your glory. Haiti, I'm sorry, sorry... |

killsmith: Saved from turning to crime Nothing extraordinary about crimes in Africa. It is the same thing worldwide. Finance crimes, political crimes, corrupt police, terrorism, communal clashes. It's not unique to Africa. What is happening in Haiti has happened in every other continent before. The religion model has more saved people than the lost ones. So my take...The Jesus model has Impact. |

They don't have a structured military and it has affected them. The poverty level sef is really high and then there are lots of jobless youths. A failed state! This civil war is inevitable and it would rage for years. It would even spill into Jamaica and Dominican Republic. You see the latter two, they are also volatile |

This is the way they blacklist people that try to fight against their interest. Who assassinated the previous Haiti president? Why did the interim president stay more than two years without an election? The military would have take over before this civil unrest. A nationalist military leader is better than a puppet civilian government 1 million percent 1 Like |

eepeepook: Read about the history of Haiti and you will find the same answer you will find in most failed states…The West, in this case France and the USA! Long and short, Haiti was a French slave colony that humiliated the French in a revolution in late 18th century becoming the 1st slave colony to gain independence. France has made sure ever since they never know peace. Of all the colonial masters the French are the worst, of all the imperialist, the Americans are the worst. That’s why I pity Nigeria, we are fighting amongst ourselves not knowing our real enemies. The day we unite is the day we know who our real enemies are. Look at what America is trying to do to China. When Nigeria makes a serious attempt to develop and we will feel the full force of the US. They cannot afford Nigeria to develop because a developed Nigeria means a developed Africa. A developed Africa means they have less access to our resources. 4 Likes 1 Share |
