Lawlessness will only beget lawlessness with lawless moves from indivduals parading themselves as leaders. Nigeria right now is nation with no head. No direction. Lawlessness , corruption, embezellements, padding etc everywhere When the head comes on board, direction will be clear. 3 Likes |

Feintline:Nor in Lagos They will be arrested and prosecuted. The rains are just around the corner so LASG is racing against time to clear all structures on drainages. 4 Likes 1 Share |

No matter what, this is wickedness especially at this time and state of Nigeria's economy. There is what they call "tempering justice with mercy" by considering the Nigerian government induced hardship right now |

humilitypays: Someone who intentionally bought a piece of land around a canal/water drainage, blocked it and built on it deserves no mercy. Wickedness is flooding an entire neighbourhood because you think you have some change so you are above the law. This emotional blackmail won't work. Those houses should be pulled down at once, especially those on the island. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The time to pack out of Lagos is now.. ndi we have bought the whole of Lagos. The real land owners want to sanitize Lagos State. All illegal structures and building must go down. Lagos State is not for sale. 2 Likes |

SoNature: This particular demolition has nothing to do with blocking of drainages or canals . There's no mention of such in the news piece up there . This is not a demolition sanctioned by ministry of environment (which concerns itself about blocked drainages and canals ) ; rather it is a demolition spear headed by LASBCA . The buildings are being demolished because the owners didn't get necessary building permit from LASBCA . That's the summary of the article up there . Make una try dey read news before commenting na. 1 Like |
