why

Because international business partners care about ur reputation in ur local market as their partner . They don't want to be seen as partnering with a business known for human rights abuse and harassment cases .

Yes the man should have pulled back after she showed remorse and he overplayed his hands
But 1v1 As a friend and as I would have done,

I would have taken all my family to beg the man, prostrate for am, claim I am insane or childish, Just to make those kain men leave you alone

I watched the youtube sod09 sent and the mans bragging about what he can do and who he knows I also saw some draggings the girl dey follow drag I no sure say in my personal capacity I will go to that extent. Police come your door and say make you open you no open for 30mins and dem dey negotiate say Madam open or else? Shey na the same Naija police I know and seankafor dey badmouth? or where are the Naija police wey go don use gun scatter the door enter destroy everything and pin flimsy crimes on you

Unless Nigeria has changed, those kain men its not hard for them to touch you in some ways even after the Twitter short attention span is gone

Even legit crimes get swept under the rug. Make dem no use person life do Hashtag Justice for Lagbaja

And before you say it, Let me say it first say I gree say I be coward. I just want to be alive

My dad was a major importer of office equipment in the 80s and 90s and business was thriving until drug barons started using drug funds to import same goods and selling at ridiculous prices to quickly recoup their ill-gotten money. He couldn't keep up and got chased out of business.

Today at old age, he is feeding off his investments in properties and his children. Business shut down and those millions invested then in blue chip stocks are now cowries.

Wow.. So first it was tinubu that fvcked your dad's business and then his bestie fvcked you

I would've agreed with this had I not seen a scene play out in front of me where someone rejected Nagiko for Clappa despite it being cheaper.

Asked why and bro said he heard it was 'poison'

Wetin dem go send before na 😀

This cut has exposed a lot of things people don't know about the telecoms industry. They are all interconnected one way or another. All those fibreone, ipnx, mainone, e.t.c are all reliant on the big players. Even the big players are reliant on themselves.

The WACS fibre that got damaged is largely owned by MTN. MTN initially migrated their traffic to a 200GB pipe from Glo and then another 200GB from Equiano which resulted in some level of stability.

I watched an interview where the man said he's not making any profit from his operations in Nigeria. He said he uses profit from his factory in Dubai and one other country I can't remember to fund operations in Nigeria.

Said he's only doing it for his love for the country and the thousands of people under his payroll.

So if everyone decides not to buy, it seems to me like the man does not care. He will simply close shop and move on.

Na our people wey dey work there go suffer.

Another angu!

Make e no be like all this Yoruba radio programme wey dem dey share stories of their listeners.

There was one like that, the man sent in his story and asked for advice. The man travelled abroad but had issues with his papers so he was deported back to naija tho with some cash. Before he arrived , he asked his wife to look for a more conducive apartment they can stay as a family for which he provided cash after which they moved in.

Years down the line, baba was doing well in his business and one thing led to the other , he wanted to meet the landlord to discuss renovations of the building , but his wife only provided the agent number which she claims is the one she pays to yearly. The man met the agent and after probing and probing, the agent gave him phone number of the landlord who turned out to be his father-in-law. The man now met the father-in-law to confront him man-to-man say wetin dey sup?

The father-in-law had no choice but to open up that the wife actually owns the building but cos she knows her husband may not want to live in the house built by her out of pride, she had to use the agent as decoy and the agent deals with the father-in-law who didn't disclose his relationship with his daughter to the agent.

The man is angry with the fact that he has been paying rent to his wife for years . He dey ask for advice for radio programme.

This made me spontaneously burst out laughing

Could be but then again it could also be that guy caved to the anger of people.
Coz he was really insulted by people for taking the gig.
Then the sudden rise of pro biafra pages on twitter defending the company😁.

If you can settle for lapsed muslim...

One lady bought erisco tomato paste, was not happy with it and did social media post criticising the product. Should not be a big deal. But the owner of erisco foods maybe frustrated by different business challenges took it personally and did a Nigerian big man thing. Got her arrested.

The lady ran to the courts of social media to plead her case. One would have thought oga erisco would have died the matter as it is now in SM and putting him in a bad light, but he is going through with the prosecution.

As a naija matter twitter has raised money for her defense and the case is in court. That is a very very rough summary.

I believe BlueRayDick really followed the story when it first broke.

The erisco guy no try sha.should probably have made a show of inviting her to their factory or something and make his product go viral. But I guess he is not that media savvy.

If Erisco batch from the same batch she bought does not contain unhealthy levels of sugar, she should be thrown in sanko for spoiling market.

Competitors are now often using fake news and WhatsApp to demarket competitors. Erisco should teach her a lesson if he knows his product meets NAFDAC standards

Could be the impression he is putting out due to ego.
But the moves the company has been making on twitter shows that they are desperately trying to fight the social media onslaught.
That's a company that seems to care

I am very sure nobody here uses Nagiko. Even your wives/GFs don't use it. But let us pretend that every cancellation tweet on X uses it.

That paste na the lowest on the ladder. 50% of his customers no get phone sef.

The moment you touch a businessman's pocket, he must be humble.

As long as that guy is still ranting, e never dey run loss
