Nafdac is not complaining. This is a product that met all required standards. But a lady decided to de-market the product online and destroy a genuine business without proof |

123456789O: Has the regulator (Nafdac) found the product unfit for consumption? Has anyone or you done independent analysis to know it has high sugar content Products don't have to confirm to the same taste. If not comfortable with a particular taste move to another brand |

tommy589: She complained about the quantity of sugar, not existence. Product should state the quantity of ingredients used, particularly sugar. NAFDAC doesn't give medical advice. The quantity would enable users under med make informed decisions. Read https://www.nairaland.com/8030198/experts-accuse-erisco-foods-violating 1 Like |

123456789O: She insinuated that the product was killing people, how worse can someone demarket a product? She has to go to court and prove beyond doubts that the product has actually killed someone or made them ill. I'll make sure I request for that product when next I go grocery shopping |

tommy589: Exactly what they should have done instead of intimidating her. Personally, I can't use a product if I don't know the percentage of sugar used. No problem if sugar is used, but at least, I deserve to know the amount. Erisco Foods didn't do that. To make matters worse, it says "100% natural " 2 Likes |
