Hello guys,
I’ve applied for admission at Conestoga college since three days before IRCC announced the population cap on international students.
Please who knows if conestoga college has been offering admission amidst the awaiting of LOA mechanism from Ontario province?
In spite of some provinces yet to concluded on LOA mechanism, are schools giving admission or they are waiting till march 31?
I will appreciate your swift responses … thanks

Yes, while you think of reapplying or awaiting attestation kindly defer to F2024. Work on your assets and financial status it is important.

Please guys i need your help.
I got admission at centennial college
paid the tuition deposit late last year.
school is also requesting i pay 8k semester balance
applied for study permit only for IRCC to turn it down and school resumes May 2024.
IRCC Reasons are that i cant prove to them that i have sufficient funds to cater for myself during the 1 year with coop program without working.
I used my company account and brother account as sponsor to gather 40k CAD.

what's the best way to reapply and what do i need to add or do to scale through this time.

i am also thinking of deferring admission to September.

thank you.

I doubt the genuineness of this PPR..

PPR don't drop on Sundays, it can only drop midnight against Saturday morning.

IRCC drops PPR only on working days, I can prove u wrong if u doubt me.

Good day All

It’s PPR guys

Second time Applicant(reapplied after my first application was refused)

Firstly, my appreciation goes to God almighty for making this a reality, also my Sincere appreciation to JMG12 for your services and support all through this process. Even when it seems to be taking too long for a decision to be made, He kept reassuring me to be hopeful. My PPR finally dropped today

Don’t play with JMG12 (justmoveGlobal). Man is good at what he does ❤️

God did🙏🏾🤲🏽

Please I need answers on school fees payment. Is it a must someone pay the 25% of the school fees before applying for visa? Is this a new law?
Some of the schools in canada that do not previously require tuition payment before issuing LOA ..are now seeking for part payment of tuition fees before issuing LOA and PAL New development...

And i am to resume class first week of May.

My question is can i send a web form by myself as u know it was the agent that submitted the application.

Good day everyone i have been trying to work on my home ties since am not employed am just 17yrs and pls how can i do GIC, can my mum do it for me by opening a usd account in her name or mine. And regarding home ties how will work on that
Your home ties should be your parents, because you’re young.
What you need is to prove that your parents have an adequate source of income to support you while you study.
They have to pay at least your first term fees and show at least $20k in living expense. As for GIC I’m not sure you can do that from Nigeria

It's almost impossible to get an MSc in Computer Science with a second class lower division. Your best bet should be to opt for a PGC course.

It will end in praise

Guys please I need an urgent candid advice on this...is canada still worth it interms of jobs and greener pastures?

Is it worth selling properties of upto #30m just to relocate to Canada?

It will be best to ask someone from your circle (Workplace, Church, Community) that has travelled to Canada. If they tell you that the place is not worth it, but they have not relocated to Nigeria then you have your answer.

My answer to most of your questions is "NO", that's why I'm having a thought about the mpower loan.
I just want to know if most loanees find it easy to repay back their loans without much pressures and hastles.

If your answers are no, then you do not have a choice, do you? Pepple have been taking loans from Mpower and repaying without issues.

Hey 🤠

1. Its not worth it on Study Visa . Let's assume your visa is granted , you will start another journey by studying and working which will incapacitate you in achieving lot of things until you are through with your study and work yourself towards Residency. In Canada, you have to abide by all rules (as an international student) .

2. It's worth it on Permanent Residency / Work Visa . By this , as you are landing in Canada, you are above someone with a study visa because you can start working immediately, open a normal bank account, secure driving licence , apply for loan etc . In short , this visa makes you on the ladder of becoming a Canadian citizen if you know what you are doing.

3. In either way. You have to be extremely careful of (some) travel agents . A woman was hoodwinked to the sum of N15.M on this same Canada visa . She together with her daughter have gone back to zero level . She sold a property too. Open your eyes and be certain that any process you choose involves you physically and on the Web.

Best Wishes 🙏

Thanks for the response, I sincerely appreciate.

Of a truth my pathway is through the student route(study visa), my family is planning to sell properties worth over #30m to sponsor it. However, with this your response I think I need to do a rethink.

Hello NLs, can the spouse of a prospective college or undergraduate student also apply for SOWP alongside with the primary applicant for May and September, 2024 intake?

This is the last update on IRCC portal "In the weeks ahead, open work permits will only be available to spouses of international students in master’s and doctoral programs. The spouses of international students in other levels of study, including undergraduate and college programs, will no longer be eligible."
