Good morning everyone, please can a couple living in different countries apply for Tier 2 visa and dependant visa sametime?
married or unmarried? They can. Either way they must each prove beyond reasonable doubt that the marriage is genuine and subsisting.

If I was you, I wouldn't compare your case with your cousin's, as there are so many factors in play e.g the case officer interpretations of their bank statement, company they are employed, their type of job, ties to Nigeria etc.

Ideally, the Embassy prefers you separate your incomes into Personal bank account (for your employment) and Business bank account (rental and transportation income).

If you can't do this, explain and itemize all the incomes clearly e.g. listing the account numbers, income and frequency of payment either in a letter and/or in the visa application.

Sorry but I cant understand what you mean.
I mean I have other source of income apart from my work, they pay all the money into my personal account as well, would you prefer I itemize each incoming deposit and explain its source?

The cheapest airline is Egypt airline depending on the date you are booking. But the issue with Egypt airline is that from reviews I see online, the are specialists in misplacing people luggage. But never the less, every airline has its own wahala especially if is not a direct flight.

They are specialist in that but I was lucky when I used it from Manchester to Lagos. I still have a return ticket with them by may, I pray they don't misplace my luggage.

@ Jolene474

Medium to Long term, I would advise you create a separate account for the business income - rental and transport income.

On itemizing the other incomes, you don't need to explain all entries. I was suggesting explaining some details like the sources, amount and frequency e.g
(a) Rental income: From account 000xxx000 / N1,000,000 naira / Annually every April. For example 7th April.
(b) Transport: From account 000xxx000 / N20,000 - N30,000 naira / Every week. For example 1st, 7th, 14th and 30th February.

Hi Guys,

I’m currently an international student in Canada and I’ll be going on a month break, I plan to visit the UK for just two weeks. I’m currently working in Canada as a part time worker and I get paid. Do I have good chances to visit the UK?

Thanks .

Your application is straightforward. Fill the online form carefully and provide documents to prove your status in Canada and how you intend to fund the trip

Thank you for responding to my post.
I’m paid a salary actually, I’m not a business owner, I work in Construction, and I also get other money from buses I put on higher purchase.
My salary and the money from my drivers come into my account, and honest I’m not sure I can keep a guideline to how much I spend a month or such.
So I wanted to know if I have to explain all my basic expenses for the month as well?

Hi all, my mom got a 6 month visa to attend my graduation this month. Although the main reason is for her to help with the children so my wife can work. I stated in her application that she’ll be staying for a month. Is it okay for her to stay longer than 1 month?

Please can you guide me on how you did the application, I'm about to start my Dad's application.

We arrived at Cairo by 9pm, stamping of passport took almost 4 hours (till 1am).

We got to the hotel by 2am and was served a meal with dessert. I slept for 1hr plus and by 4am we were woken up to go to the airport. Abeg that journey is not for the weak, if you get money use Qatar.

But if you no get, use Egyptair and remember you'll pay for yellow card at the airport before your are checked in/board.

You can also reach out to Wakanow, ask them for dates that are cheaper if you want to use Egyptair or any other airline. Cairo stopover na di£ abeg cry

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by sanyaolurilwan(m): 5:08pm On Mar 17
I used Qatar January to the UK, it was nice and stress free to Gatwick. I've also used Egypt Air last October but it was to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) not the UK. But I'll try Egypt so as to have any passport stamped, it's a kind of travel history to boost my passport.

Please how much is the yellow card at the airport? My niece is traveling to Manchester on second week of April and she booked Egypt airline. Or should we get the yellow fever card at Asaba airport? Please I await your response. Thanks.

Asaba airport is not one of the international airports in Nigeria so I doubt it would be done there. Ask your niece to visit the Port Health Authority in Delta state, get their vaccination and certificate. At Lagos or Abuja there is a racketeering going on for it. The cost should be 2k ideally, I wont pay more than 5k to get it done if it were me.

Visa Alert
I had a 6 months visa that expired in November. I visited the UK Thrice
Biometrics date March 11 (Priority)
Collection date March 18.
Visa duration 2 years.

I had three prior refusals, I was refused the fourth time(I challenged this and got it overturned). That Visa changed everything for me. Since my last application, I have gotten Schengen, US, Canada visas. If you feel your visa refusal makes no sense, you should challenge it rather than applying again which could lead to another refusal.

Thanks to all the contributors here.

Hi, everyone. I am a student in USA, but my wife is going on a 4 day tourism visit, she's planning to see some tourist places with no prior travel history, she has a US denial. She works in one of the top banks in Nigeria, and her bank has given her an introductory letter. She is presenting around £4,400 and planned to spend #6 million for the 4 days visit.

So my questions are these:
1) Does she needs a sponsorship letter from me, as she is already stating she's funding herself but gets additional income from me which she will be presenting through her domiciliary bank statement that shows that I normally send money to her.

2) will £4000k+ be enough proof of fund for a 4 days UK visit to London or she should pick some other cheaper UK cities to visit?

3) Is cover letter and hotel booking reservation necessary?

Thanks. I am looking forward to all replies I can get to help her application. God bless you all

Well I used Kano airport sha, it's one of the stress free airports to use when traveling to the UK. Less bribery and intimidation...u fit travel with palmoil for that airport, unless na cus of my gender sha.
