spawnx:They specialise in external peace keeping, and that's why you wouldn't hear in anywhere else the army are partaking in internal peace keeping except if the police failed and it resulted into a very severe conflict. You can live several years abroad without seeing an army officer on the streets. They are very very scarce. 1 Like 1 Share |

RIP to the falling soldiers and the innocent civilians that were gruesomely killed. But if the terrorists in the north were been dealt with in the same manner, they would've been decimated long time ago, unfortunately we live in a country where some animals are higher than the other. It's well with naija nlfpmod: |

Ipobfraud:maybe what happened to hamas citizens won’t happen if they give up the terrorists among them to the government but all they did was support them so they deserve what they got tell this people too to give up those who did that to our gallant soldiers them they will be okay ...how will you feel too if one of your relatives or brothers is among the soldiers killed or even your father will you say some citizens are innocent??nobody in that community is innocent because they are one way or the other related to militants who did what happen so they must face the music |

Nigerians army feel accomplished & successful when they kill innocent civilians, that's the way they were trained & brought up. How many of them know the military were established to fight external force? Proberly non, they where all train to see the innocent citizens as enemies, to kill innocent citizens give them moral & make the accomplished as military men. No way I can support Nigeria military cause they are all useless as p in psychology & are only here to protect the politicians in power. If Nigeria politician in power give order to these zombie to kill 100 million innocent Nigeria, they will do it with joy, I don't even see them as military though, but zombie with weapons RisenJoe: 2 Likes |

Bullfallo: The story those villagers are spurring are CAPITAL lies. There's no way the soldiers would have opened fire on the community simply because the Chairman refused to go with them. They should find other reasons |

The hoodlums likely cleared out their family members before the ambush. It’s always the innocent who get slaughtered in cases like this. Well, the army doesn’t care. At least one assailant will lose a family member or relative from the retaliatory attack. That is more than enough satisfaction for them. Only an idiot will claim he/she didn’t see this conclusion occurring. History repeats the tale. Obasanjo, Babangida and Buhari will come out to criticize the army for this action. God knows they’ve carried out the same in their active military years. |

We can achieve that which is obtainable in Western nations but realise that what works for them won't work in developing nations until we accomplish true democracy with a working system not the endemic corruption in present day Nigeria NwaliE01: 1 Like |

airsaylongcome: Still doesn't justify the brutal murder of those soldiers, none fierce face to face gun battle and you butchered 22 soldiers like that and you expect peace? Don't lie to yourself bro. No matter what the circumstances might have been, as long as those soldiers didn't open fire face to face with you, there wasn't a point to massacre them like that. If You were a soldier, would you congratulate the villagers? I'm not in support of soldiers going to kill innocent villagers but we already it would be inevitable. 1 Like |

The only solution is for president to intervene immediately, innocent people paying for the price of few is not a way forward, the real culprit needs to be identified and brought to book. I Am close to certain those people that ambush soldiers cant be up to 100, now soldiers wont leave the community until they make sure the community is inhabitable for human. We cant be doing things the wrong way, we need the right approach. We shouldn’t let religion, tribe and ethnicity prevail over us at the expense as humanity, humanity come first. If you think what’s happening to one tribe doesn’t concern you, just wait it will still reach you in double. Let condemn every evil actions with pure mind without prejudices that’s how we can live happily. . FOOTSOLDIER2: |

Thesame Army that are being slaughtered like Chicken everyday in the North, how many villages have they burned, how many villagers did they kill when they were massacred in Niger, Nasarawa, on daily basis in Yobe, Zamfara, Borno, Katsina ans other parts of the North. Because it happened in the south, level everywhere kill every living thing but when it happens in the north it is called KIA (killed in Action) Oh I forgot we live in two different countries and two separate laws 2 Likes |
