if not in Nigeria how can a governor govern for 8good years and then go for senate for life and still being pay a pension for life and his poeple are dieing by the day with hungry and poverty.what a country.

Normally if not for the thievessss that we have in the political scene, there's no need to waste manpower and resources to initiate and pass this Bill.

Under the law, you are only entitled to pension after 10 years of service for civil servants which they all fall under.

If you like do 8 years, that's less than 10 years, so no pension.

The law provides for six new cars every three years, 100 per cent of the basic salary of the incumbent governor (N7.7million per annum), and free health care for the beneficiary and family members.
