I'm sure Tinubu won't be happy. This development in abia is indicting to him and his fellow politicians claiming there's no money. There's no money yet they are wasting money on useless palliatives. 313 Likes 25 Shares |

Alaoji, Egbema, Ihovbor, Gbaran were all NIPP projects instituted by Baba Shege. Sapele has only two turbines out of six operational. Chrome Group abi EEDC only supervised maintenance they are not Gencos! Everything is not about propaganda, there are people with first hand knowledge in this forum. My only prayer is that Alaoji starts operating at full capacity because it has been operational all these years. 72 Likes 6 Shares |

Your Igbo leaders have been governing you guys badly but you blame everything on FG , otti is laying good example for other south Eastern leaders to emulate but still want to turn everything about fighting and chest beating. 100 Likes 10 Shares

The people with IGR bigger than Singapore and Usa put together will come and wail as usual I noticed they were everywhere praying for the light in Aba to be a lie, whenever they see a post of somebody who said they don’t have light in Abia, they spread the comment and use it to mock ndi Abia even when it was said that the light is only for Aba now and it will spread to other parts of the state later I still maintain they are pained it’s not Lagos 119 Likes 15 Shares |

derecho: The plant was built under the FG-conceived National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) and commissioned in 2015. The plant is owned by the Niger Delta Power Holding Company which also manages: Olorunsogo Power Plant, Ogun Gbarain Power Plant, Bayelsa Ihovbor Power Plant, Edo Omoku Power Plant, Rivers Egbema Power Plant, Imo Sapele Power Plant, Delta Omotosho Power Plant, Ondo Calabar Power Plant, Cross River Geregu Power Plant, Kogi (built under NIPP and sold in 2013) Your point is invalid as the planned upgrade is a Federal Government intervention. https://www.ndphc.net/alaoji https://newtelegraphng.com/ndphc-begins-massive-increase-in-capacity-of-alaoji-power-generating-plant/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Csy9SmeIp0g?si=Os1f1cLL1mywdaY4 37 Likes 4 Shares |

Nice ItisWell22: This power plant has always been in Aba. GEJ commissioned it during his tenure. It's owned by EEDC. I think It's currently moribund, hence they're about to revive it. It's still going to power other parts of Abia state under EEDC's jurisdiction 6 Likes |

They should unbundle the complicated power dynamics so that state can start generating power and start selling to others to make money. Please don't renew Discos licenses when it expires in 5 years' time. As for this news story, there's more to it because I have always considered that power station as one of the key power stations of the country. 9 Likes |
