As I always say, once you give birth, do a DNA test to confirm the kids are yours. Do not claim wify na saint, na angel and other crap. Some mumus here will even claim you must marry virgin to avoid stories. As if they can tell who be virgin. Do the test. If you are over 50 with already grown kids, just take life as it is. No need. Don't poke the beer with a stick. Unless you wanna send yourself to an early grave of which life will go on. 2 Likes |

Beverlyjean: lol. Oshi pick me. Aunty or Uncle, whatever gender you are, body no be firewood for both men and women. I cannot come and be eating a man’s weak akamu after he don spread am around. I must chop all exotic food, same as him. No be only him go dey enjoy. Variety is the spice of life. If a man cheats he has broken the bond and the result is his wife cheating, sometimes not even knowing why. Spiritually it is called karmic justice to balance the scale, but physically it is called an open marriage. Do me, I do you God no go vex. Imagine an old husband with weak erection after he has finished sleeping around or a young boy with strong hard thick prick. Allah Arkbar. As the thing dey enter your heaven you go just dey scream Jesu, Jesu, Jesu oooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Angelfrost: I am not comparing. I am simply stating that men who are eager to confirm their children's paternity should also be confident enough to want to know their own biological fathers. Children deserve to know their biological grandfathers. The fact that paternity testing was not available in that generation is the reason to pull everyone on board now that they are readily available. That DNA machine is not only meant for kids. A 90 year old grandfather can also get tested. Everyone deserves to know their family tree. In fact, it helps in genetic engineering and personalised medicine. 5 Likes |

Acidosis: There was traditional paternity test then in some cultures. It was normally done when the baby was just born. In Ijaw culture, for instance, the new born baby would be placed in river. If the baby got drowned, it wasnt the child of the said father. 1 Like |

Acidosis:😆 If we are ready to take this DNA issue seriously, even some older ones won't be spared though it may not be much compared to the mess we have around these days. It should even be made mandatory and free at birth kos the stories we read about paternity fraud are heartbreaking 2 Likes 1 Share |

superintendents: This is good and I commend you for the trust in your wife. However, other men who are victims and now voicing out at a point must have trusted their wives too, you know?? If you have the money do it early and have your rest of mind intact, if the result comes out fine, than to be regretting when it's almost too late. Sometimes, hospitals can be an accomplice and not because a wife has cheated. Hence it is important to do the test early. I already told my girlfriend, we are doing DNA, if she likes she stays, she likes she can leave me. The world has been turned upside down than not to be on guard. It is the reality of the current world and not because of trust issue only. 3 Likes |

Acidosis: I'll come back to talk more about this. But I agree with you, paternity fraud is not s new thing. Like I said earlier, Paternity fraud is not a new thing. Nevertheless it was not prevalent on this scale for the following reasons. 1. Moral Values. Men and Women were not as promiscuous as we have today. There was still and element of upright behavior in society. 2. Enabling environmwnt. Compared to the 70,s and 80's and even laye 90's we did not have as much hotels, and techmology that brought people from far flung places together easily. Hotels, Planes, Ridesharing apps, Social Media, Mobile phones all combine to make sex more accessible. 3. Urban rural migration. In the time of our mothers, most lived in communities where everyone were not strangers to each other. They probably all grew up together...so the fear loosing ones reputation was a detterant...now there is nothing as such...as your neighbor is a stranger to you and you don't really care. Paternity test mandatory immediately after birth may help the society regain its sanity. 4 Likes |

EreluRoz: This is a report by the Punch Newspaper "Three out of 10 Nigerian men are not biological fathers of their children." https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/05/paternity-fraud-three-out-of-10-nigerian-men-are-not-biological-fathers-of-their-children-2/ It may be true that the rate of paternity fraud has heightened in recent times. I completely agree that parents should be mandated to get that test. There is no morality left in the world anymore, only fear (according to comedian Layiwasabi). So if morals won't curb paternity fraud, the fear of getting caught will. 6 Likes 1 Share |
