Not sure jpy strength is coming anytime soon. If UJ can close the month above 151.5, the only thing I see is up up.

you may be right though but I think today's FOMC meeting has just lend strength to the JPY because Powell has unofficially assured the market that rates will be coming down this year, and since gold and UJ are inversely correlated, with gold soaring, UJ should definitely sink

But truth be told, if prop firms are really what they emphasize about duplicating trades of successful traders, I see no reason why that prop firm should deny you any payout. Because they benefit from your trades

Now they straight up work with demo accounts No master account, fully relying on sales..

I notice you are scared of losing, I think that's where you need to start from , you are consistent in posting your calls but if you don't start placing them you won't learn much, try and overcome that fear hustle for challenge accounts and starts placing trade , is better to fail and learn than not learn anything with time if it's your strategy you should ditch or make adjustments to you will know after placing so many trades. I have lost so much too but my focus is being better.

The bolded.....I'm going more on standby on gold; I will never buy gold for the next 5 trading days...All I look for is a short opportunity.

So I'm staying outside longer

First of all, am not GabsonFX2 and am not speaking his mind, BUT i will chip in something from what i noticed from him and just like other experience traders. You know he has being in this game for years, from one moniker to the other, lol. So, one should have known some of what makes him a very successful trader.

1. see what he replied someone up there. He knows when to be in the market and when to STAY AWAY for days. No matter the temptation, he follow his trading plan. No trade because of so so...... That means he knows what he is looking for in a chart. If he cant see that, no entry, this make take him days until it aligns. That is where most of loosing traders got it wrong. You want to be in the market everytime, everyday, every movements. And when you are in, you rush out at a loss. Then it keeps on repeating itself.
2. Get an edge, if it fits in and aligns with your strategies, you stick to it. Most of baba entries are based on daily bias that fits his trading style, then his entries are normaly based on lower time frame many times. That is another thing i noticed apart from his pipsbasketing methods.
3. The other time, he was telling someone that his target has been made, and he will uninstall his MT4 on mobile phone- and close his laptop- to avoid over trading, and loosing all, that is the descipline we are talking about on another level.

Try most of these things and see you gradually improve yourselves everyday. Funy thing is that if he records his trading style an share it, majority will still loose.
One reason: No one can be you, you cant be anyone else, it takes multiple years of constant analysis to be a better trader and knows what works for you.

3. Know when to cut your losses. Yes, its the bitter truth. If everything aligns, and it goes against you, know when to cut it fast to avoid serious dip as long as you have an edge.

Personally for long, my main pair is USDjpy and gold (US) because they correlate with themselves. If they dont align in opposite movement, i stay aside.
Despite the fact that my entry is mostly on 1min but my bias is always on 1hr/4hr trend direction. To me, 4hour momentum direction is the KING. Why do you think that in the last few minutes of 4hour candle close/open, there are lots of pullbacks, momentum, spikes on lower TF most of the time? Think about that.
I may wait for hours on that 1min before i see something that align all together before my entries, while i develop the strategies many years ago that deals with momentum, order flow, SD, HH, HL,LH, and LL for all my entries, i knew i dont further need any complex trading. If i show my chart, no one will understand but at a glance i know what i am looking for. Only that when i get to some certain level, i always withdraw my profits most times to deal with family issues and on and off like that.
Hopefully i will soon join prop family profit makers to expand my territories cheesy

I am still learning, and we will keep learning together no matter your status here. There are many big guys here that are silently killing it but want to be solo. I know at least 3. But that is a story for another day. grin

This chart is a very simple, clean chart, but with a lot of powerful readings. and you can see the risk reward when he got it right. When he shared that, i knew, he will likely make a killing, but unfortunately, am not trading GU for now.

Now, i want to add something. This link,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cf7OkMY1ciw is a must watch if you want to change your orientation of loosing here and there. This belong to someone/groups that members control 4-6 figure profits from the scratch. Yes, i said so. and i know.
You may need not to join their telegram cos they sell nothing, but it is difficult to join them, they have other one wallstreet...that is free, that one too is good , its better to understand their main strategies that has over 80% win rates, with High RR, (and you know what that means) by what i see but signals doesnt come everytime especially on higher time frame, 4hr and above unless you can monitor up to 10 pairs, and you may be getting up to 300 pips weekly, then on the lower the time frame, the win rates reduce especially 1-15mins.
If you understand their trading style, and compare it with what BrightFuture48 is doing, you will see that they have many tthing in common especially if you dont have access to tradingview setups. But notice those SD zones, those are some of the main areas that they call the shot compare to the chart below but do it diffrently and not what everyone sees what they see and how they make their entries is nothing but on another level. Look at some places where i circled, though they are many on that chart i can circle, watch the video, and come back and see how to read the chart differently.

I've closed my EU and AU trade in little profit. I hate my entry coz the big move has already happened without me and chasing the trade has left both trades with very wide SL. However if there is any deep retracement, I ll try a buy again.. If not, I'm OK with them flying without me... cool

Analysts at J.P. Morgan estimates that 900K barrels of Russian refinery capacity have gone offline after Ukraine's drone attacked the Russian refinery, adding a risk premium of $4/bbl to oil prices. While, analyst StoneX Alex Hodes, Ukraine's recent attacks on Russian refineries could potentially cut ~350K bbl/day of global petroleum supplies and boost U.S. crude prices by $3/bbl. Yesterday oil dropped after the FED rate decision was kept on hold interest rate same as before, US crude oil now traded at 81.63.

I've gotten a lot of value from this thread, just thought of dropping one or two stuffs that have been helping me lately in trading Gold.

I only trade from 6am to 10am, I don't trade New York session, I leverage Asian session slow moves to know the direction of London and I'm mostly in the market during London open, I capitalize on the quick spurts/momentum at the open and I'm done.

I'm mostly right, and when I'm not, I quickly close my positions, and done for the day.

I hope this helps someone, I'm also open for questions on my method.

Honestly bossmi, there's a pattern that I have been observing on US30 and Nas almost every day at a specific windon of time, and i have been consistent with it although I must confess that there are times that I go on losing streaks by trading patterns that look similar to it but not it exactly. 😩

My setup didn't fail, I failed my setup by being impatient.
