Good orientation by him!

You are an illiterate.

Nigeria is a Federal Republic not a military dictatorship.

There is " RULE OF LAW " Absolutely nobody is above the law. You need to go back to school 🏫 or ask for a refund of your school fees.

Military codes of practice are not laws 🚫 superior and or above the law.

Illiterate or not, Soldiers are ruled by military codes and must first be dismissed and de badged before they can by tried by a civilian Court. This is the case everywhere. These military codes and practices are also under the laws of Nigeria ranking pari passu with civil law. As such they are part and parcel of the rule of law. They are not inferior or subservient to the civil law - they run parallel to it because they come from the same source - the National Assembly. Please see the Armed Forces Act 2004

Who is the illiterate now?

God bless young man for saying the truth to those idiots bloody civilians.

I said it two days ago I came from entirely millitary background and a trained armoury if you fall any millitary comrade for trying to defend our nation you must collect, if I know you I will personally open fire on you and I won't feel remorse about it.

I don't bloody care it happened in my region or elsewhere if you fall any comrade for no reason you will collect for your stupidity.

I stand with the military and will forever stand with them....
Have you asked yourself what is the business of the military with peace meeting? So all the civil authorities in the area couldn't do a peace meeting except the military? That's the crux of the problem because the military will probably go there to issue orders and not mediate.

Some ppl here are irresponsible and very stupid, they are ignorants of what is happening in the north and yet they want to open dia smelly mouth talk anyhow.
No community in the north get mind to kill soldiers the way this deltans did,
We in the north respect soldiers and always put our country nigeria first,
We still get respect for our nigerian police, etc.

The reverse is the case in the South, especially in the SE and SS.

How can you just kill soldiers on peace keeping mission in ur area and just go free.

Ask them (community) how many so called community youth are down by now?

You must collect.

While I completely and strongly condemn the killings of our soldiers in Delta, this mumu should go and find seat to sit down. The Nigerian Army should have a social media policy to rein in these uneducated boys that they recruit from becoming a burden on its image.

Is he the spokesperson of the Army? Is he trained in public relations in order to weigh his words before spewing them?

Such a shame that a tout is abusing the uniform of the army.

The killers of those soldiers must face the laws of the land. May their souls rest in peace.

You are confusing things.

Military law only applies to civilians. But it also applies to force confrontations . If a civilian attacks an army formation using lethal weapons in a systematic manner ( we arent talking road rage or adultery here) military law permits tactical responses when soldiers are attacked. In this case they were shot at, beheaded and had body parts gouged out of their bodies. The army will not call the police and go to court. They will take out the enemy - civilian or not. Are bandits not civilians by day?

This is exactly my point of view.... Very unprofessional.
I remembered during my service year, we were told as corp members not to grant or appear on any interview with the NYSC uniform because it is illegal.
It is surprising how things just changed.
Again, the killers of those soldiers must face the law and be persecuted accordingly.

He is not a coward. They will wipe out that community so much so it won't show on Google maps. The moment you kill soldiers you are no longer a civilian you are an enemy combatant and your village is a terrorist camp.

The point he is making is that the army does not see tribes, they only see themselves and though he is from delta he will gladly avenge his colleagues even if they are from Maiduguri or Katsina.

By the way, the army is not there to protect you. They are not policemen. They are not under the criminal code or Nigerian law. They have their own laws. They are there to nullify any enemy of Nigeria. They are not your friend and they don't want to be. Don't get it twisted.

When soldiers were complaining about government neglect years back, people like you were supporting them. Now that they are defending their own as they should, you are throwing a hissy fit.
So what did they go to do in the community?
Who invited them for peace meeting?
Are the people of Okuoma enemies of Nigeria?
Fake patriots

Am with you my sister, the clown in the video acted very unprofessional and I will be surprised if he's not reprimanded by his superiors. His daft brain didn't tell him most of us in the south south lived in the North and left because of the complacency of the northern people towards our soldiers efforts in combating Boko Haram during GEJ. Same northern soldiers gave Intel to Bolo Haram and our boys were ambushed several times and many young boys from Niger Delta died alongside compatriots from other states. Some even went AWOL on the army because they knew they were fighting a lots cause. Those boys has mothers, brothers and families too.
However, I condemn in strong terms the killing of Nigerian soldiers or any Nigerian for that matter. All lives matter. The killers will definitely be fished out if they use military intelligence or use external investigation cos some of the top military brass are into bunkering businesses which may complicate issues. The army should allow the press into the communities so true reportage of the events can be recorded for posterity. The senseless revenge killing of innocent villagers and burning their homes and properties should be probed and I expect civil societies to petition the commanders of the Operation Safe Delta and the Chief of army staff to the ICJ in Hague's for genocidal crimes. We are not a banana republic to take up arms against our own citizens

Then imagine some southerners supporting these northern soldiers against their own southern brothers.

It's pathetic

Which bandits shot down an airforce craft? What proof do you have for such.

If you are going to be a terrorist live in the bush not in a village or the city where you have parents and family. You cannot attack the NA and start crying civilian afterwards.

In 1981 the Nigerian Army entered Chad a sovereign country when Maitastine bandits killed Nigeria Army soldiers and entered Chad. That is called the doctrine of "hot pursuit" and is permitted in international law. How much more some ritualistic bandits in a Nigerian
village who kill Nigerian soldiers, behead them and
took out body parts.

There is no hypocrisy. Moral? Fight individual soldiers if they wrong you. But do not attack them with heavy weapons, kill them and debase their bodies.

The only thing that will be standing where that village is now is a forward operating base - you can call it a barracks.

I know all the ipob emergency lovers of Nigeria will start bleating. This is not 1966 and there is nothing called Police Action as Gowon unwisely did back then. Now its instant retribution.
