These military codes and practices are also under the laws of Nigeria ranking pari passu with civil law. As such they are part and parcel of the rule of law. Am with you my sister, the clown in the video acted very unprofessional and I will be surprised if he's not reprimanded by his superiors. His daft brain didn't tell him most of us in the south south lived in the North and left because of the complacency of the northern people towards our soldiers efforts in combating Boko Haram during GEJ. Same northern soldiers gave Intel to Bolo Haram and our boys were ambushed several times and many young boys from Niger Delta died alongside compatriots from other states. The senseless revenge killing of innocent villagers and burning their homes and properties should be probed and I expect civil societies to petition the commanders of the Operation Safe Delta and the Chief of army staff to the ICJ in Hague's for genocidal crimes. Military law only applies to civilians. But it also applies to force confrontations . If a civilian attacks an army formation using lethal weapons in a systematic manner ( we arent talking road rage or adultery here) military law permits tactical responses when soldiers are attacked. In this case they were shot at, beheaded and had body parts gouged out of their bodies. The army will not call the police and go to court. They will take out the enemy - civilian or not. Are bandits not civilians by day?
