The upside-down or suspension railway

It's an elevated monorail, wherein the vehicle is suspended from a fixed track, constructed right above waterways or roads. The train dangles beneath a track and carries loads or people. Construction of this monorail started back in 1898, and the train started functioning in 1901

Japan and Germany are the two countries with such railways.

Here are pictures of some train in Japan.

Some of us will not enter. We will be scared it can fall at anytime.
Nevertheless, in no distant future, it is a possibility to have it in Nigeria.

Lol
Let's assume it naturally costs 1billion naira to construct start to finish.
The politicians in charge will earmark 10billion for the project and give the middlemen 3billion, while they pocket 7billion.
The middle men will pocket 2billion and give the construction company 1billion.
Now the various traditional rulers and omoniles of the communities through which the rail will pass will come and collect like 300million from the construction company.
Now the construction company will have no choice than to remove their own profit of about 500million from the balance, leaving about 200million naira to construct a 1billion naira project.

Ask me again why it will not fall down grin

Very possible, but it's an unnecessary project. We're ok with a basic fast rail system and good roads for now... We can't ignore the basics and start fancy projects, who are we deceiving. 😏

Yes we can. But the problem is managing it. We wouldn't be able to manage it.

Nothing is impossible for us, only that we need to build ourselves first, most especially, mentally and also renew our mindsets.

So na the train dey hold the rail.
Ok, we don't need that.

Cos our Aba brothers go just supply us with inferior materials that will make the train fall off while on speed

You'll have to travel abroad if you want to ride such a train because you'll never see in Nigeria even if you're still alive in 200 years time.

Not in the life time of Nigeria before that country goes extinct.
Where will u start? The Owómida? The Agbó sellers? Those dirty urchins that will steal all infrastructures and parts due to Ebi n pawa ravaging their region.

Nigeria is cursed and nothing good shall come off it.

This can't work in Nigeria, the politicians won't even bring the idea here because they know our people won't buy the idea.

Just wondering, how is the seating arrangements in the train. Are the chairs also rotated upside down
