With my 3.78/5 University of Calgary is telling me that it's Second Class Upper division or 4/5.
I don't know if they will hold on to 4/5.

So PGD is the only likely admission with 2.2.
TabletMan:
What of someone with 2.7/5 GP, that wants to apply for industrial/mechanical engineering MSc?
Any chance of getting admission to any of the universities?

Good evening .

I would like to get answers for these questions?

1)What will you do when you get another intake date from your school after your study permit has been granted?

2) Can someone enter canada 6 weeks before resumption of studies?

1. As long as the new intake date falls before expiration of your study visa then you are fine. You enter with the new LOA and apply for study permit extension.

2. Yes.

Any help on this?
1. Biometrics slip given on the day of Biometrics for wife
2. You will have to pay transmission fee the minor since there was no Biometrics. It Used to be 9700 before. You can get the current rate on VFS site.
3. VFS Consent form filled and signed on Page 2 only.
Others can chime in

Thanks for the response. Is it necessary to inform ircc about the new start date before entering canada. If yes, by what means should someone inform ircc.

Not necessary since it's same school. Just go with the updated LOA and show them at POE. They will give you a study permit to cover the new LOA. I advise you also hold the pld one just in case you have to explain the deferral

@Larryjam Are you in Vernon now? Sorry, I haven't been here in a while!

For the married mummies/women here, please when you applied for your WES, did you use your maiden name as it was on your certificate or your married name when registering on WES?

I want to evaluate my M.A with WES and don't want delays especially avoidable ones. I got my masters degree before marriage.

Please, advise!

Thanks

University of Calgary now has an Excel calculator where you can calculate your CGPA and send it to them directly, someone who graduated with 3.5/5 got admission in Geomatics engineering although he has gotten his visa and it is a reapplication to the school

Thank you so much for this hope.
I applied for electrical Electronics Engineering ( Energy and Environment Option).

Please do you know how long it takes them to offer admission after submitting application?

hello Everyone
i need your help on this.
i applied to centennial college and resumption is early may
my first application got refused which i will reapply befoe month end when i tidy up loose ends

reasons for denial was about finances that i didnt have money of my own to sustain me during my stay in canada. my sponsors were my company ( owned by me) and brother so i have been advised to also put money in my personal account, use my personal acct statement, company account and brothers statement before reapplying

i have sent mails to the school to defer admission to september 24 but no response till now
i have paid first semester tuition already.

what do you think i do?

Anyone starting school this May, and your school is Public-Private College/University, please have a rethink. Public-Private colleges will longer eligible for PGWP as from May and not September as earlier announced.

In a situation whereby you saved your school fees, and living expenses in your bank account. And you paid your first year tuition , due to inflation you opened a bank account in your name and in the same bank and stored all your assets in dollars that’s the money for 2nd year school fees and living expenses, before the requirement of an attestation letter , now the person said that the bank account has to be updated because I run a business and the business should be running but now I halted my business because of exchange rate, how do I update my naira account with transaction activities, what should I do , I really do not have any extra cash, what’s the option Please help!
