Just curious. Anyone knows? Is it usual for them to ignore the travel date specified in one's application if it's not within the average of 150 days posted on their website? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Ashirioluwa: 9:59pm On Mar 24 |
NuCypher: That is not a problem. You can travel anytime if your visa is valid. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Ashirioluwa: 10:06pm On Mar 24 |
Haryour124: Flight tickets aren’t cheap these days. To get a fair price, you will need to book your ticket early enough, and it also depends on the day of the week you are flying. Understand the travel route before you make payment because flight connections in more than one Schengen country might require you to have a Schengen transit or type “C” visa. You can try www.skyscanner.com www.priceline.com www.wakanow.com You can do it through most of the websites if the airlines. 2 Likes |

Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by dubaiboy1: 1:09am On Mar 25 |
Compared to weekends, try Monday/Tuesday and let your return be the same .. Play around the dates until you get a favorable price. Haryour124: 1 Like |
Very true. At times when people say Nairobi,I always get confused. TRV has always been processed by their Nigeria office. Each time I sent them mails on the status of my application, they had never referred me to Nairobi and it's same email address I've been using for nearly 10 years now. They'd definitely respond to me. When I heard people talk Can Plus here, that as a usa visa holder, your application won't take long to process and I could also confirm this via people's testimonies here, I was worried at some point, why my application took longer, despite being in that category so, I mailed their Lagos office. I also filled a webform. I didn't even choose if I was applying from outside Canada or not and they responded that my application was being processed in their Lagos office in the mail i received, apart from the one sent by the IRCC to corroborate this. A few days later, I received my PPR. [Hello Eriokanmi, please can you share the kind of timelines between your application submission and your email to them as well as a screenshot of the email sent. I happen to also be qualified for can plus but yet to receive a decision after several months. Thank you] |

Hi. Application submitted 16th Nov BVL and PPR, Jan 26. I was worried cos I read here about applicants who received their decisions within 1 month of applying so, I mailed them. When did you submit your application? I simply asked them to update me of the status of my application cos I needed to plan early, for my trip. I mailed lagos@international.gc.ca with my UCI/App Number as the subject. |

I applied for a TRV application for my baby girl and wife from Peru on the 5th of March. Wife's biometric was uploaded on the 8th of March while baby did no biometric cos she is less than 4 years old. They also have a valid USA visa in their passports. On the 20th of March, PPR for wife was requested while baby's processing is still ongoing till now. It's 5 days now. How can I write IRCC to ascertain why the delay? Any advice? Thanks |

Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Paulo01: 4:33pm On Mar 25 |
mojisolani: Confused how? He did everything More reason why I said never to trust any agent okay, cos I trusted him with everything cos he is a cousin and he said I shouldn't worry that he'll handle everything. Both the itinerary and POF he did everything |

Paulo01: Those agents are devil in human skin. Only God knows which statement of account he submitted with your application. However for you to be on a safer side pls get your gcms to know the basic reasons why your application was refused. So that you can work on them before you apply again . 1 Like |

Paulo01:Why una no dey do this thing una self? Over the past few days, we've been thrashing the issue of an agent who used the same POF account for several people and got some banned for misrepresentation. Never trust an agent. Some of them have no idea what they are doing. |
