Odunayaw:Bet Odun note that a couple of countries that qualified under the 16 team format have not made all the 24 format anc, countries such as Gabon, Benin and Togo. |

Amedino99: Let's assume this is not a joke. On what basis will he be suing them? Does the NFF have any legal agreement with him stating that they will hire a local coach? If such an agreement doesn't exist, I can't see what legal basis his lawsuit will be based on. But this is most probably a light-hearted joke reported out of context by clout chasing media. 1 Like 1 Share |

Iwobi looked so much better when he played with Onyeka and Ndidi behind him. It freed him from the defensive responsibilities which is not his forté at all. Shows how much Ndidi was missed in our last AFCON. 7 Likes 1 Share |

AndSunGorilla:The question is this, did the 24 format increase chances for participation? The answer is evident in the fact that Tanzania qualified as runners up. There is zero shame in that because making it to AFCON is by merit. 2023/24 they qualified also, proving the 2019 was not a stroke of luck. That takes away from the awe of the previous one that's all. Benin Republic was at 2019. They knocked out Morocco 1 Like |

Odunayaw:Yes chances of qualification obviously increased no doubt. That said, despite the "ease", the point is that Tanzania didn't make the 2021 ANC and countries with a better pedigree than Tanzania have not qualified for all the ANCs since the 24 team format started. 1 Like |

I hope to see the combination of Awaziem and Omeruo in tomorrow's game, not just for the defensive duties they provide, but for the crisp passing and seamless transitions to midfield. |

Calvin Bassey is another guy, i would have loved to see, if not for injuries. |

Nomyth: France 98. Our chances of passing R16 in both 2010 and 2018 would've been very slim. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Odunayaw:You make it seems because Afcon was increased to 24teams that's why he could qualify them, but they are now telling you that several teams that qualify when it was 16team still find it hard to qualify now. Please give the guy him flower weather 24teams or 16teams he qualify for their first Afcon after 32yrs. Weather he has done enough to be picked as SE coach is a different thing all together. |

Nomyth:it's between 98 and 2018. We scored in 2018 and we would have qualified to the ro16. Yakubu later scored after the miss and we still failed to qualify |

When the owner of this site upgrades the site, I would suggest he adds more features such as the mute or block options, also the “private profile” option where a moniker will have the ability to restrict those who can view his posts. If such features are made available, people like Komekn and many others who come here to cause confusion would be gone from my list. That will also help the case of CharlesEmeka and TheGoodJoe 5 Likes |
