If PH starts production this month as promised, it'd futher endanger their speculations as dollars would futher crash. They'd rather sell off the old stock as fast, rather than the waiting game.

I was about saying it. Once Nigeria finally overcome this challenges of fuel importation and we begin to export refined fuel instead, dollars worshippers will be in severe pains and the usd will experience it's worst decline in decades.

why are prices of things in the market not coming down. See eh, the problem is not in the Naira, but Nigeria. We don't have any body that supervises and regulates pricing. Anybody go just wake up put price. Dollar is selling for ,1280, now but prices are still high when it was 1500-1600.
The primary duty of CBN is to stabilize currency. Nigeria does not operate price control, we allow market forces to play out. However, artificial scarcity and arbitary increase in price needs to be checked not by monetary policy only and that's where state governments need to come in too.

I have never been bothered about some bunch of naysayers, i got wager with them. I won some bucks against a few of them who were bent on naira tipping at 2000. Naira was sliding 1600/1700 at the time but I projected naira rebounding based off of key indices. If anyone of them can dare, let them come in and take me on. Make money off them.
Please continue to educate them because the indices are obvious even for the blinds..

Where is the evidence that oil production has increased. Oil price has been up since before this fumbling govt took office. So oil price isn't the reason the naira tumbled

I really don't see what it is to rejoice about. 1300 to a dollar is an abysmal rate
If somebody can sit behind the keyboard and talk so very mischevously of facts, obvious facts about increase in oil production, then i have no need entertaining a dark hearted pessimists. I have the right to be excited about naira appreciating as you were jumping on your chair when naira was everyday depreciating.

I don't know what you mean by jumping on chair.
You claimed oil production has increased, give evidence you're turning it to personal matter.
If you don't have any evidence, I guess it's safe to say you're lying

I can't wait for fuel tankers to queue up at PH refinery loading fuel. It will ease off pressure a bit. Hopefully, Kyari will not make a mess of himself.

CBN as at yesterday had also reduced custom duty, so we expect a corresponding reduction in prices of imported goods, unless of course Nigerians do what they do best- which is continued exploitation and greed. Also, all level of government should roll up their sleeves and invest in critical sectors in their respective states.

Prices of goods will drop significantly when pump price returns to Buhari's price -- > #200

Clueless idiot, when naira was exchanging for 1850 to a dollar, someone like you was rejoicing and calling the government all manner of unprintable names.
But now that the government set out policies framework are paying off. You are bringing out another negative narratives that naira will collapse in less three months.
If naira doesn't collapse In three month then that doom will fall on your head...
Negativity about our country should be erased. Everyone should support this government to achieve greatness and prosperity. If these are sustained,in no time, fuel prices will go down, so also prices of commodities and food.

No be everything be fight... Using a pain killer to treat your broken legs doesn't mean you've treated the main issue.

Your government just applied painkillers sir, and the effect will wear off soon and you start to see naira fall again.

Just in case you don't know, I am a admirer of the president. But truth be told, you borrow money to solve surface problem when interest rates has been increased by CBN, customs are increasing rate, no support for local productions no working refinery, Dangote buying crude oil from the USA, and businesses in Nigeria using only dollars as legal tender etc. Bro, I'm sorry to say we will be neck deep again in what you think we are offered.

We should start by rejecting the IMF and World Bank's advice on how to run our economy. Since the days of Achebe these institutions have been causing us damage.

Hope you understand now?

Everyone on this platform knows you're a political hireling. So no one expects you to apply the least modicum of common sense in whatever nonsense you want to write. Your comrade-in-folly claimed oil production had gone up when we are not even meeting our OPEC quota and you are here writing rubbish about oil slump.
You need to delete yourself from my mentions. I don't have time for people who enjoy playing the fool to please politicians`

For how many weeks now has the Naira been gaining strength? Has there been any notable reduction in the prices of commodities in the market ?
This should be of uttermost concern ()

They will look into it. Most times, we are the enemies of ourselves... people increase the price of their goods arbitrarily once they hear dollars including people that doesn't have anything to do with dollars. What concerns someone selling Agbalumo in the vill6wutg dollars, still they will increase the price and say it's dollars. Some people are also entitled in destroying the country simply because they did not win elections.if we join hand together, Niceville be better
