You are not being realistic. You need influential politicians to campaign for you in the north to win votes for you. That's how politics works over there. They don't vote independently like many places in the South. There are some exceptions though.

If you are not so popular in the north, you need to use the faces they know to campaign for you to win votes. That's how Tinubu was able to win states in the North under APC. This is one of the benefits of running under an umbrella that has a structure. Unfortunately, LP doesn't have that and it will be hard for Peter Obi to win votes from the core Northern states.
