The Bible in Ecclesiastes 9:15-16 talks about a broke and wise man that saved his city from destruction. One can be wise and broke. There are several examples around.

At the same time, one can be rich and extremely foolish. Nabal the husband of Abigail in 1st Sam 25:25 was a rich fool and he died young. Also the rich fool in Luke 12 died young too.

It is better to get the two but a rich man without wisdom can surround himself with wise men. He only needs to have a gentle spirit and avoid brash talk.

The wisdom of a poor man is despised. Nobody will look at his side and he will easily be forgotten. But people will manage the rich fool and tolerate his excesses.

E.g. All expensive Technologies are products of wisdom.

You can't loss wisdom.
But you can loss all your money.

Wisdom is intangible and can't be stolen.
Money is physical and can be taken away.

From my findings

Most of these Rich Fools inherited their riches. Some of them had it by luck, chance perhaps hardwork.

Most of them still go back to their broke state eventually.

But it is impossible for a Wise person to go broke because he knows his onions and perfectly understands how the world works.

I have seen a lot of Old Stupid people "God forgive Me" in Nigeria with lots of landed properties scattered all over the country.

I have some very close relatives who are in this category. I usually say it to their face they should come and do same thing now wey the country don pafuka
