Many factors dey play into why person fit dey receive less pay, and e no always mean say dem no dey work hard or dem no productive. Ah, I catch your drift now. Make we focus on the real issue about who dey carry more load for work. Sometimes, e easy to confuse the matter with who dey get better pay, but na different ball game entirely.

Responsibility for work no dey always show for person salary or how dem dey rank for office. Plenty times, na those wey dey for lower cadre or dem no too dey for eye wey dey do the heavy lifting. Dem fit dey handle more tasks, meet tighter deadlines, and still manage to keep things running smooth without too much recognition.

The illustration fit dey try point out say, no be by position or title, but na by the real work and effort wey person dey put in. Na important make we dey appreciate and recognize everybody role, because every job, no matter how small e look, dey contribute to the bigger picture.

Ah, I get where you dey come from now. If we wan keep am simple: the idea say junior staff dey carry pass for work na overgeneralization wey no fit apply to all companies. True, some places fit be like that, but no be every workplace dey operate for the same way. Different organizations get their own unique structure and way of sharing responsibilities, so e no correct to just blanket assume say na junior staff dey do the most work everywhere. Clear and straight to the point.

Most of them(labourers/employees) aren't only underpaid, they also carry most of the responsiblities. Go to most Nigerian factories and other related companies in Nigeria, you will see what i am talking about. The annoying part is that they are maltreated. My a/c has been banned for spilling the ugly truth.

Junior workers are underpaid in most organisations, I am not denying it. But being underpaid is different from carrying the heaviest burdens of the company. The illustration on the attached image would have been correct if it is about pay (salaries).

Do you know that managers face all kinds of security threats (juju, setup, kidnapping, etc) from competitors? Even the employees under those managers use all kinds of manipulations on the managers for nepotism sake. Do you know what the managers go through to fund and sustain the companies? ERISCO Foods employees are getting paid even as the brand is being boycotted while Nigerians are dragging the CEO. Who is suffering the boycott and the dragging? If the company folds, who suffers more loss?

The managers face more stress. Otherwise, the company will go down. Are you aware that mental stress is as tiring as physical stress? Are you aware that teachers get tired the way farmers do?

Pressing computer, taking calls, going for business meetings, panicking about what faces the company and other things. Ask yourself why high BP is more common among managers than among junior workers. Ignorant people think the BP is caused by feeding habits.
