My simple question is this: that a man does not doubt the paternity of his child is enough reason to say it belongs to him? Is that what you are saying?

But since you are hell bent on broadening the issue then I’ll answer you. Mohbad’s father has every right to doubt the paternity of the child no matter what Mohbad said or did not say. And if he doubts he also has a right to request a dna test.
Now you might be bothered about his intentions and you may be right. It might be for selfish reasons but that does not hold water in the court of law or morality.

If I accuse you of killing a man on a day you were not in this country just because I have the intention to rope you into something you didn’t do are you not supposed to prove your innocence by showing evidence of where you were especially if I have legally accused you? That questions the man's authority to request DNA...That is why Wunmi is requesting a court order. I think the old man is not even sure if Mohbad is his biological son. If not, he would have approached the court. Femi Falana already abandoned them by telling them to sort themselves out.

Mohbad didn't raise the issue of paternity of his son, I don't know why you all are taking paracetamol for another man's headache.
You and me can demand DNA tests for our kids but it is out of place for our dads. What is Mohbad's stance in all this? Nothing! End of story.

If the so called family like, they should accept the kid as Mohbad's. If they like, they should reject the kid because the mother refuses DNA test. It is their loss, double loss. The kid will survive with them or without them in his life.
My take is that Wumi has every right to refuse the DNA test since there was no issue regarding the paternity of the kid when Mohbad was alive. Not even the goverment or court has the right to give the order. It is not her responsibility to make anyone happy about this

Even the ones whose paternity are not certain are here on social media requesting for a DNA over a child whose paternity was never questioned by his late dad.
