SonofElElyonRet:I have always feared to venture into anything TRANSCORP. Even this TRANSPOWER hope of getting to N1000 in imitation of GEREGU looks like a tall dream in my eye. Should it even get to N1000, It is not likely to stay there for more than two days before racing down in a free fall. 2 Likes |

I believe that they are correct in using 80million units instead of 7.5billion. The AFS was for 2023 and the listing (of additional 7.42b) happened in 2024. That's the only way I see sense to the figures... emmanuelewumi: |

Some people hype stocks because they want to cash out. Others do so because they have privy information. Others just want to say something to be relevant... At the end of the day, each of us is the MD of his/her portfolio and should do your due diligence because when/if it goes south, every mallam will hold his kettle... Deadlytruth: 10 Likes |

My Ogas, pls I am quite new here and need your perspective on something. I was looking into MTN and found something about their Tower lease contract. From their report it said "MTN Nigeria’s operations are exposed to foreign currency volatility on its operating and capital expenditure. The most significant of these exposures relates to the tower lease costs, which comprised the bulk of the 45-50% foreign currency exposure in our operating expenses in 2023." I understand some of these contracts is currently between MTN and IHS, which maintains these towers for MTN. But I don't understand how this contract works in detail. I want to know, if MTN built these masts (Towers) and then contract it to IHS to manage or IHS owns these towers and lease them to MTN . If MTN own theses Towers, these lands that houses those masts, are they on leases too or owned by MTN ? Every input would be greatly appreciated |

NettyNelly: IHS builds and MTN leases. Its NCC regulation. MTN is not permitted to build IBS or towers anylonger, so companies like IHS builds and the telecos can co-locate on their base stations |

SetrakusRa: If you remember Mecure, you should not be surprised. Knowing when to jump out is the key. With this result, one could be trapped for a long time as supply will likely far outnumber demand |
