Yorubas are mad that Airpeace used an Igbo attire to launch its maiden flight to the UK

So, should all federal politicians and political appointees including presidents, deputy presidents, federal legislators, federal judges, ministers, special advisers and assistants, and heads of federal agencies, among others, be wearing Green-White-Green dresses and a dress with the coat of arms design when they are conducting their official public duties, which should be 5 working days every week? Keep in mind that each of these individuals is working for, or leading the 250 or more ethnic groups in Nigeria, not their own one ethnic group. In essence why should Tinubu (or as did Buhari and Jonathan) be putting on Yoruba dresses while at work in Aso Rock? What about the dresses of the other ethnic groups? Only a flag or coat of arms dress design can satisfy the inclusiveness requirements

Let's hear your thoughts.

Well other countries like South Africa, Egypt, Ghana, Namibia, Kenya, you there not see their officials dressing like traditional gods.

It’s only you in Nigeria you see officials wearing dresses meant for traditional functions

What clothes are you expecting the president of Nigeria to wear? Should he be dressing like Ghanian or Qatar presidents? Maybe by tomorrow now, your advice to the president shall be never to eat Amala inside Aso Rock which is practically impossible.

HE SHOULD WEAR THE DRESS INTRODUCED BY YOUR SLAVE MASTERS AND OWNERS.

HE SHOULD NOT PROMOTE OUR CULTURE AND HERRITAGE BUT HE SHOULD PROMOTE THAT OF THE ENGLISH ABI.

IT IS EVEN EVIL ENOUGH THAT WE ARE FORCED TO SPEAK ENGLISH IN PLACE OF OUR NATIVE LANGUAGE

LET US AT LEAST USE PIGIN AS OUR COMMON OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

of course. Then when it’s time for our culture, he can dress however he wants.

It’s just like working in a corporate environment.

He is a Yoruba Nigerian. It’s appropriate clothing. Even more appropriate than a suit.

You people will leave more pressing things to talk about and focus on dressing that is not disturbing you or mother. If you're ashamed of putting on traditional wears, should Tinubu also be ashamed of putting on his own ? TUFIAKWA for una brain cells cool

we know he’s Yoruba, or Igbo, or Hausa and others
Let maintain dress code

Official dress for official duties
Traditional/cultural dress for village/community functions. It’s as simple as that

This is a response to Yoruba tribalism on AirPeace using Igbo attire. Besides, read the post, not just the title. It is recommended for all federal workers.

You are so senseless and too much of a bigot.
Where did you get the idea Yorubas were mad atca non-issue ?
Do you think the Yorubas are primitive-minded bigots like Ibos ?
Honestly, your bigottry and crass inferiority complex stink to high heavens.

Anywhere in nigeria, it is only the Ibo that attach ibophobia to anything done to them - demolition, arrest for crime ,etc - done to them out the SE.
Nobe of over 230 or so tribes in nigeria ever runs foul of this nauseating biggotry !!!
