After scoring a paltry 38 goals in 38 matches last season, we have scored 53 goals in just 29 games this season. But look at the defence... Just look at it. Conceded 47 goals after 38 games last season, which is woeful for a "big 6" club. What do we have this season? We have conceded 50 goals currently. There are still 9 games to go!

If the defence improved on the figures of last season the way attack improved, there is no damn way we will be in the position we are right now. No way!

But but attack is our problem...

Maybe I need to start watching Arsenal vs Burnley, Sheffield united, Fulham, Luton Town to see all these qualities. Sadly, I don't have such time.

I have personally come to observe him vs Chelsea, Liverpool, Man u, Man city, Porto and I saw nothing.

These are the type of games I rate players from, not against significantly weaker opposition.

Read my post calmly. I said as long as a player plays for a big team capable of competing for major trophies and fails to win anything after repeated trials, he can't be regarded as world class.

Therefore two things makes a player World class; consistency in performance for at least 5 years or maybe more and trophies to show for it.

We can’t be conceding 2 goals and more every damn match. You aren’t always going to score 3-4 goals every match just like when we drew 2-2 against burnley I think.

Truth is, the defense has declined massively, but then our attack has grown and is causing opposition problems. In summary, as it stands defense is our problem

This season he's been carrying niggling injuries which have been affecting his play a while now.

This logic is so flawed. So because Man city have won trophies Foden is world class but because Arsenal haven't then Saka is not world class lol. You are shouting big team without winning trophies like Arsenal have been dominating for years. They literally became good last season here. Their previous league finishes was 8th, 8th and then 5th. Saliba has been world class over the last two seasons, Arsenal winning a trophy or not doesn't change that. Same with odegaard and others.

I remember when Reece James first joined the senior team and several people here were criticising him. I said then that that guy would be a high level performer cos he was like a street bully in the juniors. After a season those same critics were claiming he was the best RB in the world.

City, Liverpool, Arsenal, United and Chelsea. These are the big teams in England for now!
