Hello ColdHunter,

Your POF in inclusion of the full funding /scholarship is very sufficient. Your personal balance shouldn't be a problem because of the presence of the scholarship and sponsor's funds.

Any lump sums in your sponsor's bank account should be documentarily explained. Also, include your pay stubs for 4 - 6 months.

What is the level of the program and course?

Best Wishes!

If I get you clearly, the scholarship/funding is already part of my POF.

It's a Masters in Gerontology.

I appreciate you.

Hello Ajoself,

While you wait for the funding approval, keep your bank account busy to help you show stable economic means.

Your US denial wouldn't affect your application to Canada only if it is declared in the IMM 1294e form.

What school and study did you apply to?

Best Wishes!
Thanks a bunch. My job not too paying like that but money is flowing in and out my account. The school is Ontario Technology University.

I am applying for Canada student visa but was denied US visa. Can I keep it to myself? Or can they detect?

There is absolutely nothing to be worried about previous denial. Declaring it doesn't affect fate of your Canada application except you committed a crime there which will be found out anyway whether you declared it or not. So best you declare it especially on that immigration form. Be silent about it in your SOP

please how can one show relationship with sponsor
You didn't state who your sponsor is to you.
If it's sibling, birth certificates of both of you, then your parents NIN if possible, then pictures of both of you together, evidence of communication between both of you when she showed concern to your welfare, evidence of previous commitments to your welfare, could be transfer receipts, bank statements highlighting when he/she previously supported you financially etc. But you must establish the link btw both of you.
If it's spouse, marriage certificate.
If it's your inlaw, you show birth certificate between you and that your sibling then the marriage certificate with your sibling and his or her partner.
If it's material uncle, you show your mum birth certificate and your uncle birth certificate to show they are siblings. Possibly do change of name affidavit for your mum to show her median name share same name with your uncle etc.
In all of this, you have to convince why such sponsor must part away with millions of naira to sponsor your education no matter how financially capable they are.

Hope this has been helpful

Hello good morning. Please I have some questions to ask.
1. My sponsor said he has enough proof of funds but they’re not in his bank account; they’re in forms of treasury bills, shares and Federal government bonds, and even his pension. How do I prove with this? Can I just use these documents as proof of funds?

2. Also, I’m applying for a 1 year graduate certificate course. Is there any luck of me being able to be eligible for PR during my stay there?

Will greatly appreciate if I could get enough responses this, thank you!

If these were your own money in those system then you could have a chance depending on the visa officer. However, since it's in your sponsor acct, I doubt this will fly. Your sponsor doesn't even have guaranteed unhindered access to the funds let alone you the applicant

2. Getting PR is not really by luck, you have to be intentional about it with proper planning all depends on the program you are going for and the pathway you want to follow. Luck can only fall in place if probably maybe a new policy is made that favors you at that time

Hi,
My own case is below, kindly advise.
I am going for a 2 Year Diploma in Early Childhood Education at Lakeland College Alberta.

My spouse & I have a Company and we have all the company documents and Tax Clearance, and I & my spouse are authorised signatory to the company account and also got a bank Reference for that.

Questions

1) He transferred £35,000 to me from our company account for my POF and also paid the full $18,000 CAD tuition fee from thr company account.
We have proof for all our sources of income.

2) I intend to go with my 2 kids (3 & 1 year old) and my husband will apply for a visit visa to escort us as he needs to come back to continue the family business.

3) I am also submitting our company, spouse statement of account, that have £17,000, £12,000 and my own £36,548, $2,500 USD, #4.5m,#2.2m and #400k

Noted: I have a UK travel history, I want to the UK January this year

Kindly advise what we need to include and our chances ?

All Source of income, our house and 4 landed properties in Port Harcourt worth over 300m is also included.

You already said you have all the proof for the source of the money so I belive you are fine already. As long as your sop is tight covering all areas then you are good to go.

Hello Mr. Please when did you get your PAL. I am May intake and I have already gotten my admission letter since January but no PAL yet. I have sent email to the school but no reply. Please what do you suggest I should do .?

We are tight with timing as the school is planned to resume in May.

May is the last term she has, as the admission was given to her one year ago.

I plan to guide her in applying, as she will be getting a bankstatement from her Uncle. was wondering what the best balance that should be in the account.[/quote]

30million at best is 30,600 using today's rate.

Living expenses for you and your hubby is 25,691. 5k to cover for Miscellaneous expenses. That's the 30k exhausted.
So the 30million will not be sufficient. If you have external sponsor apart from you and your hubby then 35million in total shud be fine. If not, target 40million. Mind you all estimations were done using today's rate

Using Oanda's rate, yes it is. Its 5k extra from what you need.

Hi everyone,

My husband and I intends to sponsor my brother in-law. I need suggestions on how to explain the funds below, specifically the 12 million Naira. Please kindly read the gist below:

1) I transferred a total of 12 million to his account. This money was transferred in bits of 1 million from December and I transferred it from my brother’s account cos at that time, I had issues with my account. The intention was to leave the money for 6 months and print his statement. He earns 75,000 Naira as salary.

When naira started depreciating earlier this year, I told him to send back the money to me. I advised him to open dom account. So I transferred equivalent of the 12 million into his dom account. We later transferred additional money to the dom account to complete his living expenses. So he has 22,000 cad in his dom account right now.

2) His tuition is 17k cad, we intend to pay 12,500 cad for his tuition.

3) We will provide accommodation for him

4) We will provide statement of account worth X4 of his tuition, our employment letter, and pay slip

My question is: For the 12 million naira we moved back and forth, should we say he saved it from his salary and converted to dollar due to naira depreciation and print his one month statement to show that transaction? Besides, his account is not that busy.

Or should we just say we are sponsoring him 100% since all the money in the dom account was deposited by us. He is 30 years old if that helps.

And sorry for the long post.

You mustn't get it in lagos,
You must do capturing,
I did mine in PHC police HQ at 50k, although I know them just wan collect money.
It's possible to also do online and pay but you must go for capturing which indirectly they will still collect their money, so better go their station and just pay for everything and get it.

I just got my admissions from University of Calgary. Thank you for giving me hope.

I was even too worried that I had to apply to university of Montreal.

JMG12:
University of Calgary now has an Excel calculator where you can calculate your CGPA and send it to them directly, someone who graduated with 3.5/5 got admission in Geomatics engineering although he has gotten his visa and it is a reapplication to the school

Yeah, you can get it same day, depending on the amount they will charge you. I know someone that got his same day here in PHC for 60k... this is Nigeria; your money, your decision, what you want goes.

cec route has been paused for years. most provinces have also paused pnp routes.

JustMellow:

Hello NicoleThelma,

For the study route, the best form to show POF is liquid funds in the bank account. Any other POF can be secondary.

After graduation, you stand a chance of becoming a PR if the eligibility is met. You can always apply for PR via the PNP or CEC route.

Best Wishes!
