Keep comparing nonsense. Ask why Ghana is not on the list yet, their electricity is stable, despite the heavy relocation of multinationals to Ghana, which would have caused their energy consumption to rise with rising cost per kW |

Poor comparison. Why don't you compare Nigeria with better country like South Africa or Egypt. |
Re: Most Expensive Kilowatt-Hour In Africa - Statisense by Eriokanmi: 7:31pm On Apr 06 |
Paraman:So it is in Ghana with their stable electricity, despite the presense of heavy industries in their country which left Nigeria in one decade. They're not even on the list, shame in our government of lies. Wait for the soon to come protest, then you'd know people are complaining. Hope you won't change your story then. You may be plucking money from the mango tree, who knows? |

Paraman:

If that brain is paining you APC propaganda slaves, why would you even compare a country with a lot of resources with countries with few, a country that that generate electricity to other countries should be number one on that list but una no get shame at all. Propaganda gone wrong and senseless...only meant for gullible APC supporters like the op. |

Re: Most Expensive Kilowatt-Hour In Africa - Statisense by Doyin2(m): 8:15pm On Apr 06 |
Very baseless statistics. It’s all a function of exchange rate, no consideration for other economic factors like income levels. E.g if $1 = 120 Naira, then Nigeria would have $1.9 per kWh,assuming current exchange rate is $1 = 1200 Naira. The higher your exchange rate, the cheaper things appear in dollar terms. This is absolute illusion! You can only make sense when you also convert the average income levels to dollars and then match them with prices paid for goods and services. In essence,we should be comparing price per income and not absolute price. |

nairalanda1: And it'll still be from the meagre earnings shey? . How are even the same people all these things will affect still supporting this nonsense? Even if those earning little do not use this electricity, the things they'll buy from their meagre earnings must have passed through it and the prices will still be on the higher side. These things are linked. SMH 1 Like |
