Bobomaigida:PNP is slow in most province in Canada @ the moment, infact in some provinces the allocation available has been overwhelmed by candidates in the pool... In Prince Edward island: PEI slow down it's PNP due to housing shortage in the province..only in demand occupations are now drawn.. Alberta In Alberta some programs in the PNP has been paused due to shortage of allocation, Alberta demanded for extra allocation from the federal government, which was denied Manitoba skill workers in Manitoba are protesting against the new government for changes that didn't favor the majority including discriminations, longer waiting time for nominations and invitation to apply,at the moment no occupation specific draws, including international students stream!! PNP is messed up in Manitoba at the moment due to funding, incompetence and shortage of staffs!! And Lack of processing nominations even the new incompetent government returned 2000 allocation / slots to the federal for Saskatchewan to use.. British Columbia There was a protest in British Columbia/Vancouver few weeks back by international students majority in master's programs, some updated guidelines in PNP didn't favor them. Saskatchewan This province put a hold on its hard to fill pilot program!! Ontario Ontario PNP allocation has now been increased to 21,500 slots in 2024!! With 235,000 pal allocation from federal government.. All temporary residents including temporary foreign workers and international students for the 21,500 slots.. For the PNP EE permanent resident pathways, temporary residents in Canada exceeds over 2.5 million people by population, while immigration targets 485,000 PR in 2024 for both domestic and international, allocation of110,000 slots for PNP in 2024 Future cap, intake: Federal government of Canada to target temporary residents arrivals by Fall 2024 This is Canada PNP news today... |

I have 18 plots of land in 6 different locations and a car. I intend using them as part of my home tie. Please help check if it will fly. Thanks |

Good evening.....please I need answers to a couple of questions 1. Can a non family member(e.g family friend of more than 10 years) be a sponsor for study visa? 2. Should the funds be send to my account or it can be left in the sponsor's account? 3. Admission letter says Entrance award of 7k. That's a scholarship right? |

1. Yes, but you need to prove the relationship 2. It's better you have the funds available in your account, also provide documents to back up the source of funds 3. Yes, it means you have a partial scholarship of 7k olusola2bello: |

Congratulations on your PAL approval next step is to apply for study permit important areas to cover 1. Proof of funds; It's important to demonstrate that you have the financial means to support yourself throughout your temporary stay. This includes covering tuition fees, accommodation expenses, living costs, and any other related expenses. Providing evidence of sufficient funds through bank statements, sponsorship letters, scholarship awards, or any other financial documentation is essential. Make sure these documents are up-to-date and accurately reflect your financial situation or that of your sponsor. 2. Home ties; This refers to your connections and commitments to your home country that would compel you to return after completing your studies Canada. The VO want to ensure that you have strong reasons to return to your home country once your study period is over. Evidence of home ties could include family ties, property ownership, employment commitments, or any other significant connections. This demonstrates that you have a genuine intention to return to your home country upon completion of your studies and are not planning to overstay your visa. I hope these helps! igmentality: |

Hello house, I’ve been a silent reader on this thread for a while now, and thanks to all the info I got from this platform I was able to do my university application myself. I just got admitted to do my masters at university of Calgary. Meng Geomatics Engineering. My passport however is not ready yet, is there anything I can do in the meantime while waiting for my passport? And also a friend advised that I use an agent for the visa application, what do you guys think? I’ve been doing everything myself thus far including passport application |

Good day everyone, @Zubizareta I just got an admission to a College/Polytechnic in Canada, and I was asked to pay $1,400 to hold my seat. Someone asked me to pay the full school fees of one year ($14,500) instead of the $1,400. Please what do you suggest ? Also, I would love to know if you offer private services for guidance on student visa processing. |

Predator188: Even with all these, there is still the federal immigration plan which has not changed though they IRCC has been doing targeted draws. The fact of the matter is that all the provinces have been inviting people to apply for PNP, what anyone in Canada needs to do is to research the way the draws have been going and align. Remember that some people will get ITA once they have Canadian education and good test of English scores without needing PNP nomination. With the Caps in place now it means in no distant future IRCC will have to go CEC draws to since the largest supplier of EE applicants is reduced. Check CIC news to see the provinces inviting applicants every other week. 1 Like |

Good morning good people, I have been offered admission to Simon Fraser for the Masters september intake. My question is 1. which application should come first? study permit or Visa application. 2. Will a 3 - 4 month account statement with very heavy activities be sufficient? 3. How long does it take to receive Visa? This is to know when to start my application. 4. When do I need the statement of account? During study permit or Visa application? I'll be glad if someone can be kind enough to help. 2 Likes |

mbapelvis: Please BECAREFUL with agents, and take whatever they tell you with a pinch of salt. Don’t act too desperate cause they’d prey on that. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Omo, loan to pay in 15years sounds like a long commitment, I’d advise you to go to Atlantic regions. Provinces that the population isn’t so high so you stand a chance for PR. Avoid ONTARIO!! You already have a masters, do you have a valid reason to want another masters? That’s another money. Go for a graduate certificate in a STEM field, also learn French, they’d contribute to your score. Cheers 2 Likes |
