In the fast-paced and ferociously competitive airline sector, price wars have become like Siamese twins that can not be separated by the actors, as a surviving strategy. https://tribuneonlineng.com/foreign-carriers-engage-in-price-war-to-frustrate-air-peace-out-of-london/ 65 Likes 11 Shares

It's an open market No one is frustrating anyone . Air peace should have made proper consultation with other airlines before splashing the average airline ticket to UK. Win win for the travellers as the airlines would drag themselves to the extent of free falling the price . Modified: As usual, tribal coloration must be added to my comments. Air peace is our own, we all want it's success but they can't be doing things in a wrong way without calling them out. First Air peace trip from Nigeria to UK, they had issue in both Nigeria and UK, can everybody be wrong? Perhaps, Air peace should have a proper consultant teams that would help them to put things in order before taking any steps.. We are yet to pack the oracle from the ground, it has already started predicting. Below is the price between Ethiopian airlines and Air peace, N400k difference 159 Likes 6 Shares

We really need to learn to be patriotic and favour our Nigerian companies and goods . If you like patronize these foreign companies for over 20.yeaes they don't respect you or see you more than just a Nigerian. They will favour and respect their own citizens more than you. Learn to patronize and support Nigerian companies 472 Likes 38 Shares |

condensedmilk: Yes, that should have been the right move. Air peace met some airlines operating from Nigeria to UK, it's insensitive of Air peace to slash the pice without no proper consultation with other airlines. If Air peace ticket to London is $700, na to just drop theirs to $650. Everyone is allowed to play the game 104 Likes 8 Shares |

Majority of our people are not smart Foreign airlines have been riping you off for years charging exhorbitant price Air peace entered the market and crashed the prices Now the smart foreign airlines now remembered that they can now slash there prices I know Nigerians They won't do the right thing They will still follow there oppressors But Air Peace should just continue there match They will still grab significant part of the market share 338 Likes 32 Shares |

helinues: Man you are very unintelligent. You talk so much nonsense all the time. Ordinarily I would chuck it up to very poor quality education but your pattern of behavior shows an extremely low IQ individual who is garrulous and not very bright . What do you mean by consult with foreign airlines ? Did they consult with Nigerian aviation minister or sector before tripling and quadrupling their ticket prices ? Stop always confirming our suspicion that you are very unintelligent and learn to be silent when faced with topics your handicapped IQ cant handle . Learn to think like a patriot and not be always so hateful and negative. Keep your stupidity focused on your family and not this nation. We all want a better Nigeria 633 Likes 77 Shares |

Healthy competitions and alternatives are always good for the masses. Same thing we are praying for another cement brand that would crash Dangote price. Other foreign air carriers have thrown the gauntlet, it's left for Air Peace to take it up. 39 Likes 4 Shares |

condensedmilk: When glo slashed the prices of GSM in 2003- 2004 when MTN and Econet were reaping Nigerians off Nigerians with line as much as 35000 Naira Glo slashed there Sim to 2000 Naira Every Nigerian benefitted Even MTN had no option to slash there own or loose there market share Someone saying that Air Peace should consult others must be smoking pipe Ain't done anywhere in business world 370 Likes 30 Shares |

helinues: I am so glad you proved my point with this nonsensical response. 😂 Young man stick to the romance section you are not very intelligent . Nigeria needs patriots who are ready to work and fix this nation. Nigeria needs citizens who are ready to support the government and the president. Your comment is typically that of a no stakes having mentally handicapped no do well who wants everything handed to him. The president acknowledges that people like Airpeace are patriots who work towards the nation building. But you are used to living off handouts given to you by either politicians or individuals with no stakes in nation building hence your IQ can't fathom what it takes to sacrifice toward building a future for us all 261 Likes 30 Shares |

CountinBlessins: Na you get time to even quote him in the first place His IQ is extremely low Funny thing they are the ones that keep on supporting and louding wicked oppressive policies from those ruling Showing they are not different Because I wonder sometimes these people ruling us are they not humans like us Cause you can't just be doing oppressive things to those you rule Example after reading the article by farouq on Tinubu playing out IMF directive I wondered How can you remove fuel subsidy Recently now remove electricity subsidy While income has not increased The level of reasoning to this kind of policies I can't explain it as a human with feelings Don't they feel for the ordinary Man? There have been case studies of countries that rejected IMF intervention and still got so much better Brazil and Indonesia are prime examples Today both countries are in the top 20 Economies in the world Doing extremely well Economically I weep for Nigeria 109 Likes 3 Shares |

All these reduction of foreign airline fare is as a result of Naira appreciation...Don't be deceived, there's no fare reduction here... The foreign airlines repatriate their funds in foreign currencies while air peace doesn't need repatriation of fund. If you check BA and Virgin booking site, it's still the same fare that was charged last year that they still charge till now... 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Very malicious headline. 1. Airpeace is not complaining. 2. Airpeace is sold out towards end year. 3. Airpeace will most likely slash price if other airlines catch up with their current price by the end of the year. Nothing spoil yet. 46 Likes 4 Shares |

djon78: CountinBlessins: At the end of the day, it will take Nigerians to ignore the prices of other airlines and still fly Air Peace if the airline is to survive the price war. This is a lesson to all the bigots abusing Yoruba people and trying to distance the Tinubu administration from the success of Air Peace’s maiden flight to London. Tribalizing the airline and chest beating when we should be making it a Nigerian brand will make it fail in the face of global air politics. 20 Likes 5 Shares |
