Hi, I have been thinking of enrolling in NOUN but I'm not quite sure of their fees, both school fees, exam fees and any other fee payable. Can anyone already enrolled kindly help with a break down of all mandatory fees for a degree program? My course of interest is computer science. Thanks in advance. |

Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 7:33am On Apr 09 |
Peledonomy:Of the 3 courses, number 2 is the most straightforward. In NOUN, the challenges often come from Non-examinable courses. For those that are new, these courses are courses you register but don't take exams on them. Example of such include the IT/SIWES, Practicum, Seminar, Project, Teaching Practice, Micro Teaching etc. These courses though have no exams to me seems to be the courses that delays students the most. I remember some years ago, my cousin was delayed in B.Sc. Information Technology for nearly 2 years because of seminar. He kept submitting and resubmitting and no result. Those that did micro teaching will tell you the same. More details shortly 1 Like |

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About TMAs 1. We have not done matriculation, I am a fresh student and just did exam registration. Is TMA meant for me also? Answer👉 Yes, TMAs are for all students, including fresh ones who have just registered. 2. I'm confused about TMAs. Are they exams, and what do they involve? Answer👉 TMAs stand for Tutor Marked Assignments and are not exams. They are compulsory assessments crucial for exam eligibility. 3. If I neglect my TMAs, can i still take my exams without issues? Answer👉 Skipping TMAs, could disqualify you from taking the entire exam for that course, let alone skipping all TMAs. 4. How are TMAs graded, considering there are three of them? Answer👉 There are three TMAs, each worth 10 marks, totaling 30 marks. 5. Is there a time limit for TMAs similar to timed exams like JAMB? Answer👉 Unlike JAMB or regular CBT exams with countdown timers, NOUN TMAs are based on countdown timing by days. Each TMA has its specific duration in days. No deadline yet for TMA infact it would stay open throughout April and possibly till June 2024. However, portal glitches may occur, so it's wise not to rush and to seek assistance if needed.
