Bros, what's your take on NIDF? Is it a good buy at current price? Long term horizon in view.
Also I will like your comment on which is the best Mutual fund - STANBICIBTC/FBNQ/ARM - to invest on, as per interest rate payment.
Thanks man, and as usual please anyone with a good suggestion is free to comment....knowledge is power!

NIDF is good for income investor.

For mutual funds, it is a league the fund manager with the highest rate this week might be the lowest next week. Just invest with an of the fund managers that have consistent for the past 5 years and above

To have an investment income that grows every year it is good to reinvest a certain percentage of your investment income.

You can only stop when your investment income is more than 200% of your annual living expenses
That's a strategy

Final dividend for Zenith is N4.00 not N3,50. Fair enough.
What happened to GTB?

Proposed a final dividend of N3.50 per share which in addition to the N0.50 per share as interim dividend amounts to N4.00 per share

Zenith:
Interim (N0.50) + Final (N3.50) = Total (N4.00)

GTCO:
Interim (N0.50) + Final (N2.70) = Total (N3.20)

The final dividend for GTB is N3.20k not (N2.70k) This is not so bad but a little bit over priced.
Do you realise that Zenith Bank (Just a single banking entity) selling at a lower stock price is paying 25% more in dividend than GTCO (a Holding company)?

Not bad. It has left Access bank and robbing shoulder with GTB. Good one. Appears to be one of the cheapest among the FUGAZ banks.

There is a news on front page that cbn has blocked the use of foreign currency as collateral for loans again.
Will this law affect stockbrokers like ucap that gives their customers loans backed by dollar investment with them?

UCAP stockbroker does not give loan, consumer finance unit of United capital gives loans based on your financial assets

I believe the CBN and the banks know that the profit they made last year is not sustainable due to foreign exchange. But they want to ensure that dividend payments is sustainable so shareholders can maintain their confidence in the banking sector.
This is one sector I am thinking the shareholders cannot meet and vote for 90% profit share from the EPS.
Cardoso is the might man of valour at these times to the banks

FUGAZ dividend yields:

UBA-9.1%
Zenith-8.4%
Access-8%
GTB-5.9%
FBHN-
Uncle Tony really tried for dividend hunters. I think it is a great milestone for them to overtake the like of Zenith and GTB in terms of dividend yield.
