no he can’t do that ..read the article again and then apply common sense of a human not the sense of a dumb criminal….remember criminals are always smart and in charge until caught then it becomes devils handiwork

We are talking about the law, you are talking about common sense.

If it is all about common sense, we won't need lawyers to represent us in court.

Seems like you have not been to court before. You will think you have a case until they turn it upside down right in front of you. A simple case, they will complicate it right there before you.

This lawyer is the major problem of Chioma. The guy has always been looking for a case to shoot himself to limelight to attract customers.

Chioma apologised, but this lawyer retracted it, then see where we are now.
The guy want to be a celebrity lawyer. Listening to his arguments most times, this one will hardly win a case. I listened to how he was trying to defend chioma on Arise TV last year, I nodded my head. Nothing go come out for this guy matter concerning Chioma.

This case alone he involved Falana shows this guy mixed this matter with hatred and grudge. That's not quality of a lawyer.

You don't know anything... This is hustle. He's doing exactly what you said and that's the right thing to do if you know abt power moves. You got to always maximize opportunities to shoot yourself up the ladder. He's a real G. Involving Falana will get him both money and fame.

Inihebe have the right to sue Erisco CEO for defamation of character..

It's a good one.

Same as Eriscos CEO has the right to sue Chioma for cyber bullying and other charges levelled against her.

In all, media trials will do no party good...let the court decides

Chioma Okoli attacked Eric Umeofia, they will soon gather to accuse Yorubas of hate, and jealousy.

Erisco’s head office is in Oregun, Lagos State, not in Nnewi Anambra State.
Must you link everything to tribe? Can you stop being petty for once?

Yinmu.

Quit the idleness and vain entertainment of the social media, go work hard to build a formidable business like Erisco foods first then when your sweat and hardwork comes under attack, let's see what you will do. Talk is cheap.

Erisco did the right thing by taking the lawful and legal route instead of taking the laws into his own hands, all these media escalation doesn't help the lady.

What her lawyer is alleging above is a civil case where her lawyer is demanding money while the client he claims to be defending is facing a serious criminal case. In my opinion, the strategy is incoherent and seems that he is not ready for reconciliation. I believe that it's only reconciliation and amicable resolution that can help that lady. I pray she comes to that reality soon enough.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

He did the right thing anyways...

But, also, the lady did the right thing... I review products online depending on my experience while using it... It's left for the company to reply and tell me why I had a particular experience...

There's a difference between Destructive Criticism and a Negative Review

What the lady gave was a negative review but Eric took it be a destructive criticism.

Someone has once bought my product and went on Fb to say that my product is fake...

I called the guy and it happens to be that he bought the one he bought wasn't for the result he wanted.

What Erisco would have done is to reply the lady and explain to her Tomato Mix and Different from Tomato Paste and hence, there's sugar in it.

A simply Social media reply would have solved the whole thing... The lady never intended to spoil his business.

By the way, Erisco has several products aside Tomato

It doesn't work that way at the surface all of the time.

There are sponsored, paid negative reviewers...they are paid by competitors.

Not all reviews negative or positive are honest and innocent reviews.

So, sometimes, when organisations act, there maybe underlying factors responsible for why they acted the way they do.

Lol. Inibehe Effiong is a fine ass lawyer and human rights activist.

He has handled and won loads of cases (plenty of which were pro bono)

Your argument against his modus operandi is weak and tasteless.

You don't need Google and the Internet to know that Inibehe is a popular learned fellow!

Sugar is added to tomato paste. NAFDAC attested to it.

The original issue is not even whether it had sugar added to it, but that it was sugary, which could mean that it had too much sugar (than allowed) added to it.
which ever way, the way he is handling the case or how he started it is not good.
