Ogori Magogo are hybrid of Ebira and Yoruba just like the Akoko Edo people.

Ebira had no influence on ogori except by marriage, there's no family in ogori that traces it's fathers line to ebira only mothers line

However,Yoruba was used to propagate Christianity in Akoko-edo,ogori zone as it was a neutral language, some sort of lingua franca like English due to the fact that the zone comprising of numerous small villages which spoke different Languages.

Ogori was the first village in the whole Akoko-ondo, Akoko-edo zone to establish a primary school,the Anglican agents and the church propagated Yoruba language in the school and church. infact ogori were the ones who then preached and propagated Christianity to all that zone using Yoruba language.
