Most of them are doing nothing in that office.... Just go and come back home

Nonsense

There is no way some will not be there doing nothing.

I keep imagining over 4000 staffers in CBN HQ. Doing what?

Sanusi Lamido has said the truth concerning them. " Spolt children of the elite who are not ready to work"

What is currently happening in CBN should be extended to NNPC as well...

You can't just be collecting humongous salaries and allowances under zero productivity....

That is what is happening in NNPC for donkey years...

Infact a case in point is the kaduna refinery,...that place as a while should be shut down and everywhere sent home..because absolutely nothing is going on there rather their over head cost is increasing

Same with Warri Refinery.
If you see them trooping out in the evening with a variety of exotic cars, mouth go open you. You no go open mouth.

There are certain tribes in Nigeria who when their people are in any small position of authority, their code of omertà is nepotism. The Fulani, the Yoruba and the Ika people of Delta State! Whatever is going on with any of these groups in the CBN no concern anybody, because "chop alone die alone" is still a basic law of nature. cool

Is that why Labour Party of Peter obi used ibo to head the party in the northern states??

List of organisations that are specially reserved for children of politicians:
NNPC
CBN
FIRS
NIA
DIA
NDA
DSS
EFCC
Customs
NPA
Immigration

Feel free to add yours
I don't think children of politicians are still admitted into the NDA like before.

God bless Centra bank governor Cardoso.
Let's keep out fingers crossed, hold on with the major praises till dollar breaks the 750 mark Cardoso met it, (abi did he not meet it at 750?).
When he does the miracle of returning it to ₦200 buhari and Tinubu Apc) met it, the we roll out the drums!
Oga, we will carry Cardoso on our heads and dance round the streets of Lagos, Abuja, kano, enugu, abia. After that, we head to Abuja and demand Tinubu presents himself for us to adequately deal with him by subjecting him to being carried on the heads likewise for heavy dance in all major states.

I am surprised you did not remember to mention the tribe that rejected a Catholic bishop just because he is not from a particular section of their own tribe.

Some of you are not just poor students of history but fellows with a shallow mind and a fish brain.

The CBN is overstaffed and we saw a lot of rot under Emefiele with CBN veering into matters they have no business with like granting loans to farmers, and Emefiele was allocating forex indiscriminately.

If the departments are not relevant to the core mandate of the CBN, they should be closed or the staff redeployed or relieved.

The CBN cannot be used to compensate the children of politicians with jobs. We need the very best to work there.

Cardoso, we from the outside fully support your reforms. If jobs would be lost, so be it. But could you please see if some of those being kicked out are absorbed by the Ministry of Agriculture or other agencies in the Ministry of Finance?

Impressive.

You are a kind person 👍🏽

There should be a thorough review of the recruitment processes into Federal MDAs with immediate effect.

Those places have been taken over by the children of the elite, forcing the children of the masses to go abroad for slavery.

It's unfortunate...Buhari dragged this country a million years backwards...the level of nepotism I witnessed the last time I visited those ministries was heart breaking.

This is one of the biggest problems with Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the Federal Government.
Most juicy and well-paying agencies and parastatals are filled with children of politicians and affluent people in society. They just go to work every day and mostly do nothing. The future of these organisations is at stake because these categories of staff have no motivation to work.
